Great everyday watch
I have 4 of these Bertucci watches, 2 with different faces, 3 of the DX3 40MM case, 50 meter rated, and one A-3P Sportsman Vintage Field watch, 100 meter rated. I am by no means "careful" with them, they are tools to me, and if my hand is going into something, so is the watch. None of mine have gotten a scratch on the face, none of them have gotten water/oil/chemicals/soap inside ever. I bought 2 because they had different bands that I liked, and I switch between the DX3 and the A-3P Sportsman Vintage field watch, when I know I'm going to be in/near fresh or salt water. I keep the batteries out of the ones not in rotation so I don't have to worry about leaky battery killing a watch. One thing that is not talked about enough in my opinion is the band they use, which is, I think, the best band you can get. It is the only slip on through the lugs, one piece, truly one size fits all. If you have small wrists, you can heat up a paper clip and make a new hole where you need, and melt the material so it doesn't look like a DIY fix, same for larger wrists. The two metal bands that hold the extra band on it work great, and I remove the bands to clean them with regular soap and water when they get dirty, and i can honestly say that there is not a better watch and band for the money. One thing that is not true, is their "a remarkable 4-year battery life", I get two years on them, and I'm not complaining about changing out a $4.00 battery every two years, it doesn't seem like an unreasonable life to me.

Bertucci does it WELL! Great JOB!
Product came packaged new in the box. Had the manual and warranty included. While some snobs may gripe at the TICK it makes, I could care less! The nylon band is comfortable and the case/face are rugged, yet nice! I wear it for days on end, though remember to wash the band from perspiration! The lume on the watch is about average. The waterproofness is AWESOME! I’ve showered and swam with this watch, and yet, it hasn’t leaked or stopped! Cheers to Bertucci! I can’t tell you how many times I’ve bumped or accidentally scraped my watch on surfaces, it still looks new! Fast forward to January 2018, and while it has two somewhat unoticeable scuffs on the case, it still RUNS. Do keep in mind, that the watch can only be swapped out with official Bertucci nylon bands. You can order the nylon bands through the Bertucci website or online. You can’t beat their price for what you’re getting! I plan on buying more of their inexpensive line of analog watches! Who knows? Maybe, I’ll get into their automatic line eventually!

Nice field watch
Nice field watch for the money. Very lightweight (23g without band). Good size - not too big, not too small. Bright lume, lasts for about one hour. Unibody design, can only be worn with nato/zulu bands. The lugs and that part that is usually where spring bars are - also made of poly resin. I hope it won't break. At least it feels solid. Very stiff band, I had to replace it. Overall, I'd probable agree with Bertucci's slogan: the ultimate field watch.

Great wrist band.
So far, so good. Seems to be good quality. Have gotten wet and used in swimming pool. No problem. Wrist band is a bit stiff, but high quality. Will see if it becomes less stiff over time. There are numerous holes in the band, so getting a good fit is easy. It's the best band I've ever had for getting a good fit. Since the band is high quality, I don't expect the holes will get worn out. Also, there is an extra "clip" to secure the excess band, so it's not flopping around like happens with so many other watches. Both "clips" remain secured in place, so they are not sliding up and down in different positions.

Bertucci DX3 Field
This is the first watch I've purchased in probably 10 years. I got used to having nothing on my wrist and checking my phone for the time, but was informed that it's not "stylish". After binge watching hundreds of YouTube videos, I decided that (1) I like the aesthetic of a field watch with a Nato or Zulu strap, (2) I wanted to keep this purchase simple (under $100, quartz movement) to see if I would actually wear it, and (3) if I did start wearing a watch regularly, this could be the "outdoor beater watch" going forward. Other main contenders were Timex Expeditions and MK1s. The Bertuccis eventually won out though, because they seemed a little more "field" and because of all the helpful reviews on YouTube. Next I agonized between the polycarbonate DX3 for about $65 and the stainless steel A-2S for about $100. After deciding on the DX3 for my beater watch use case, I then agonized about which color to get. I ended up going with the black DX3 with black strap because it happened to be on sale. So far I am happy with this purchase. I really like the look of it in person. The nylon strap is very comfortable and sturdy. The watch itself is exactly what I expected. The polycarbonate material is light but feels well made. The face is simple and easy to read. (I don't need any complications: I'll still use my phone for the date or a stopwatch). The second hand doesn't hit all of the marks exactly but that's fine with me. The watch seems to be a great fit for my wrist, which is about 7.5 inches. It's not too bulky either, so it may work in more formal settings ("field-formal"). The lume looks awesome when it's fully charged up. It dims down pretty quickly, but is still helpful in the dark for a few hours. I appreciate the little touches to help avoid damage, like the crown being located at 4:00 and the recessed crystal. The time is 20 seconds ahead time.gov after about two months, but I was not precise when I initially set it, so don't take that too literally. I noticed some reviews mentioning the second hand becoming detached. Hopefully this is rare occurrence and would be covered by the warranty if it were to happen. I like the all-black look a lot, but would consider getting another Zulu strap to swap on for some contrast (maybe khaki?). For a next watch, I would consider getting a higher end Bertucci if I wanted another quartz. I also like the idea of something mechanical, especially with hand winding - maybe a Vostok or a Hamilton.

I've worn it for three years and the battery hasn't died yet . The band is the best strap I've ever had on a watch I don't see how you could ever wear it out. Much stronger strap than a G-Shock. The mineral crystal does not scratch. I use this watch for welding and grinding and the crystal is starting to get pitted and nicked almost time for a new watch but it still works great. Will buy another with the date feature next time.

Nice product. Very reasonable price. Light yet sturdy. The Nato strap is relatively comfortable. Like the black color. Would recommend for anyone buying their first field watch.

After owning now for three days, the watch is fine, very light, I think the strap may actually weigh more than the watch body....the combination 40mm watch with 22mm strap is ideal for a regular 7" wrist size. Note that the actual watch doesn't have the words 'DX3 Field' as shown in the product image, as the image is an older version. The watch I have matches exactly with what you'd see on the Bertucci website, so all is good. What makes this a better option for me from all of the Timex watches that I used to have is that the 'tick' on this Bertucci is very quiet (unlike the Timex which you can hear across a room), you have to get this close to your ear for it to register...another positive. Not sure how long it will last or how useful is the so-called 'luminous' number markers & watch hands, but as I don't have any plans for night-time covert operations, then this won't really bother me. I like the fact that this style doesn't have one of those tiny pointless date windows.....and the nylon strap I assume will loose some of its rigidity with daily use. All in all, it appears a good watch for regular daily use at work, and so far I am pleased with it. First time I've bought from the Amazon Global Store. Expect a longer delivery time than usual, this took about 2.5wks to arrive from date of purchase, but again that's fine, no big issue.
