Hape Wooden Doctor on Call Role Play with a Carrying Case| Pretend Doctor Kit for Toddlers Age 3 Years and Up

My kids have been asking for a doctor kit and this one had each of their "musts" plus it was (almost all) wood and fabric (my must) and it was a great price. They love practicing their doctor skills on humans, toys and cats. One of the earpieces on the stethoscope kept falling off, but we glued it on and that problem was solved. Everything else has worked great!

It is loved by my great grand daughter that just turned two. Mommy, who is an RN, gets a ck up every day. It was the perfect gift for this little one. THE DOCTOR KIT IS LOVED!!!!!

Adorable! I am a huge fan of Hape and wooden toys in general and this set did not disappoint! Truly adorable: simple usable case with zipper, wooden"ointment" with top that comes on and off and tube as detail for pretend play. Wooden thermometer with little tab that moves, wooden "needle" "shot" that opens and retracts!, "blood pressure checker" with wood, cord, elastic and Velcro cuff and small plastic "pump"(very imaginative), patient note paper, and stethoscope; now at first I was disappointed that the stethoscope wasn't wood, infact it's all plastic, but it works! You can listen to a heartbeat amazingly well, which is worth the plastic compromise. I will also add the stethoscope doesn't fit easily in the bag which has been a bit frustrating but my daughter got over it by just wearing them when she arrives for her "appointment". Also to note: some of the pieces come apart if pulled, so if your child tends to be more destructive this might not be the best set. My three year daughter is very into pretending with this toy and has played with it daily since it arrived.

This is fine and what you get is what you see. That said, disappointed in a brand I like. It's not falsely advertised so it's nobody's fault but mine, but why they wouldn't include a reflex hammer or otoscope (arguably two of the most fun doctor toys) is beyond me. I would also prefer the shot to be spring-loaded. It's a little hard to pull in and out. The wooden part of the blood pressure cuff keeps coming out -- I'll glue it as an easy fix but it's just another "why" in the design.

Being able to play doctor or veterinarian with quality instruments? What more could one want? This really is a quality kit with the one quibble that the “ointment” lid keeps falling off. There is not enough resistance which is of slight frustration to my child who wants things to stay closed when she closes them. What makes it perfect: A favorite part is that the stethoscope does actually work! It would have been a great disappointment had it not. Being able to actually hear a heartbeat is one of my children’s favorite parts of this set, and not all wooden doctor sets allow for that. What could make it better: the inclusion of a tool to check eyes and ears. My child added a magnifying glass to use for this since there isn’t one in the kit. My kiddos love when I play the uncooperative patient. 😳😆

I bought this for my sons 4th Birthday and I am glad I did. He loves playing doctor or nurse an healing us up. He has had pretend surgeries and fixed our broken hearts on multiple occasions, not to mention he loves giving us shots :S :D. Its simple no frills fun really nothing too special but its a hell of a lot better than some of those plastic junk kits- This has a long lasting quality, The wooden pieces will be around a long time only piece that might not last is his favorite---Stethoscope but no sign of damage yet.

I love this kit but noticed the ear tips of the stethoscope pull off. I took them off and put them away, kind of surprised they were not attached so they could not come off. Other than that, the kit is lovely as are all of Hape products.

Our daughter loves playing with this! We love that it is simple and requires some imagination, no obnoxious noises and lights. The quality of the components and the bag are excellent. The stethoscope actually works which makes it a fun educational tool as well.

Acquistato per un bambino di 2 anni e mezzo. Strumenti essenziali (termometro, siringa, stetoscopio, cremina, sfigmomanometro e un blocchetto per annotare le cose), tutti solidi e resistenti. Lo stetoscopio funziona davvero. Il bimbo si diverte un sacco a curare tutti i suoi peluche e adora andare in giro con la valigetta in mano.

Perfect little doctor set. Durable, not full of plastic, and just the right amount of pieces to be interesting and fun without being too much.

Une jolie petite mallette en tissu pour jouer à l’infirmière ou au docteur de la marque HAPE. À l’intérieur vous avez l’essentiel seulement 7 pièces mais qui sont en bois et de qualité. Moi je préfère la qualité à la quantité pour les enfants tout petits il vaut mieux moins de pièces et qu’il joue vraiment avec que d’en avoir partout étalé dans la pièce et après difficile pour ranger. Donc je valide et recommande . Son prix 18,50 € quand même mais c’est de qualité fait un bois 🪵 FSC mais ce n’est pas la marque Janod française que j’aime bcp mais je connais bien cette marque Hape et jamais été déçue.
