Best taste, solid nutrition, incredible value
I love MRM's chocolate mocha veggie elite, so I expected I'd like the meal replacement in the same flavor. I was correct - only I like it even better than the Veggie Elite! That's a nice surprise, considering it has additional Ingredients, including flaxseed powder, algae-based omega-3, and an antioxidant blend. I've tried a number of different proteins and meal replacements, and I'm very aware of how earthy and grassy they can taste with these or similar ingredients. This is quite sweet - although the combination of stevia and monk fruit make it taste far better than stevia alone - more like sugar. The texture isn't bad if you mix it in at least 50/50 plant milk with water. It tastes great in plain water, but it has particles (flaxseed powder?) that won't stay suspended and will sink to the bottom of the cup. Adding some milk helps a great deal and cuts some of the sweetness. It is a tad grainy, but that's par for the course with veggie proteins. Beyond the quality ingredients and great taste there's another reason I love this stuff so much: The price! I paid $29.99 for 3lbs of the chocolate mocha, and the vanilla is about $27. Both have 30 servings per container too! A lot of shakes are only 10 or 15 servings for the same price. I'm so glad I found MRM - I don't have to break the bank in order to get a nutritious, high quality, great tasting meal replacement shake.

Yummy and super nutritious
This is a pretty incredible product - packed with great clean, high quality ingredients and providing complete nutrition in just 1 scoop. No additives or preservatives. The vanilla one I got tastes yummy with almond milk. I got it primarily for protein supply to supplement plant based diet but love all the other nutrients. No brainer for quality, taste, and price! The company has done research and even clinical studies for efficacy of their products, and they are third party tested. I went on their website and they have 21 pages of recipes too.

Great Taste, More Filling
This Veggie Meal replacement is a great tasting shake that actually fills me up and curbs my morning hunger. I have been attempting to lose weight over the last few months, and this product has really helped with that. I cannot stand skipping breakfast in the morning due to feeling like crud. The taste is great. It has a very "mocha" taste to it. It can be a little gritty depending on if you do not use enough water. I would think a blender would work better for this, but I simply use a "Blender Ball" bottle to mix up the powder and then pour it into a glass to drink. I've tried a few other types of these meal replacements and none of them come close to how good this tastes. There is little to no veggie taste unlike other powders. If you have been looking for something to replace a meal during the day, then this is your product. Give it a chance, you'll like it.

Great value. Taste is subjective but I think it's really good.
I've done a breakfast shake everyday for the past 5 yrs and sometimes 2 shakes a day. I've done mainly Huel, tried Kachava for about 2 yrs, and have also tried Soylent ready-made, Orgain ready-made + Orgain powder, and Garden of Life. I gave this one a try because it's the cheapest option per serving although only 190 calories (Huel is 400 cal, Kachava and Orgain 230-240 cal). I think the taste is very good, consistency is thin/watery, texture is chalky like most pea protein powders, and sweetness is a little artificial but not bad. Personally I will keep getting whatever is cheaper but I've stopped using Huel because the rest seem to use superior ingredients (and Garden of Life and Orgain specifically claim to use Organic ingredients which this does not). I used half water/half soy blended in the vitamix to review the taste. Normally my shakes have so many things that the taste doesn't even matter. I typically do a handful of frozen fruit, dried goji berries, Amazing Grass green powder, 5g creatine, either of ginger/turmeric/maca root, Mega 10in1 mushroom powder, either of chia/flax/pumpkin seeds/almonds/cashews, half water and half whole/oat/soy/almond milk, sometimes cacao powder + peanut butter (in a chocolate shake), and sometimes whatever I have lying around like fresh mint, avocado, etc. Edit: It starts smelling/tasting stale if you don't finish it quickly enough, which for me was about 3 months after opening.

Product and Quality Control Suspect...
I had purchased this product in Vanilla on two prior separate occasions and did not have any issues with it. My last order and subsequent replacement order sent by Amazon were bad. Upon reading several posts where reviewers mention the product tasting “sour”, “clumpy” and “caused a burning sensation when swallowing”, I thought it was probably anisolated incident and had already been addresed by the company. Apparently there is still a quantity of material floating around that was made with bad ingredients. Why the company has not alerted its suppliers and pulled all this product out of circulation is surprising? Since there is no way of knowing whether or not you will be one of the unfortunate ones to receive the bad product, I would recommend you either steer clear all together or check the Lot # of the product you receive. The specifics for the Vanilla mix I found to be clumpy, sour tasting and difficult to swallow was LOT # VG17313 07/2020. ***Update*** I contacted MRM and spoke with a representative. I explained my concern with my last two orders, and commented on how my previous orders of the product were fine and that I really liked the product. The MRM representative listened, expressed concern and sent a replacement product which is fine and of the quality I was used too.
