Does what it says on the bottle, used it on patio furniture covers, and works as it should so all good

The Nikwax TX. Direct Spray-On Waterproofing is excellent for revitalizing the properties of your gore tex clothing. Very easy to apply after washing the garments with Nikwax Tech Wash. Nikwax also has an all in one product that both washes and re-waterproofs gore tex garments. However, I've always been an advocate for products that do one thing VERY WELL instead of a combination of things OKAY. That's why I prefer to use a combination of the Nikwax Tech Wash and the spray on waterproofing separately. Furthermore, using the separate spray on waterproofing allows direct application of the product to specific areas of the garment that tend to get wet or exposed to damp/wet more often.

Just be sure to use the Tech Wash first, wash deeply, rinse very thoroughly then apply the TX Direct to the damp product. You'll be good

used it the way I was supposed to. Went trekking after the treatment, the material was soaking after spending hours in the light rain. I was definitely missing the little water droplets rolling down, what I was expecting:)

I’ve used the Nikwax Waterproof Spray on several jackets and a pair of hiking boots, and overall, I’m really satisfied with the results. It does a great job of restoring water resistance—rain beads up and rolls off nicely without soaking in. It’s especially useful for older gear that’s lost its original waterproofing. Application is easy with the spray bottle, and I appreciate that it’s water-based and eco-friendly, which is important to me. It also doesn’t leave behind any strong chemical smell, which is a big plus. The only reason I’m giving it 4 stars instead of 5 is because the coverage isn’t as wide as I expected—you may need more than one bottle for larger items or multiple pieces of gear. Also, it takes a little while to fully dry and cure before you can wear the items again. That said, it’s a dependable product that definitely extends the life of your outdoor gear. I’ll continue using it and recommend it for anyone looking to refresh their waterproof clothing or footwear.
