I’m a 5’ 10” and 175 pound guy. I purchased the medium and it is a perfect fit. It is tight when you put it on dry but you can still move freely enough. When you get in the water it immediately loosens up to the point that if I got a size larger, it would rise up from water getting in around the waste. It should feel tight when you put it on dry. Trust me it loosens up. Anybody smaller than me should consider getting the small size because you want the waste to be tight. Otherwise the water will rush in and it won’t do it’s job. Having said that, if you’re just looking for a cool looking jacket to keep you a little warmer at the beach and you don’t care much about the actual wetsuit properties, then I recommend getting a size larger. That way it’ll fit better dry. The rubber smell goes away after you use it in water. I personally don’t mind the smell of neoprene. Smells like a tire shop. If that smell bothers you, maybe don’t get a wetsuit and don’t use coozies. It looks cool. My girlfriend said it made me look athletic, which I’m not. I am however pretty slender. If you have a big belly, this might not fit right. It keeps you warm AND cool. I purchased this for camping because we go on the Delaware river. Some days it’s cool out and it makes me shiver. This jacket keeps you warm and you will immediately notice a different inside and outside the water. At the same time, it keeps you cool in the heat once it’s wet. It blocks the sun and prevents you from getting burnt and retains moisture just enough to keep you cool. I was torn between this and a shorty wetsuit but I’m really glad I went with this. It’s fairly easy to put on and take off. Can be unzippered easily to cool down. And the biggest upside to a wetsuit is you don’t have to pee in it. For $30, this is a great product.

Great product. I use it in the pool for water aerobics. Keeps you just warm enough. True to size.

Good quality and True to Size…I wish I would have trusted another reviewer about the size. I’m 5’7 168 lbs 42 chest. Medium is perfect. Seems like plenty of extra length in the torso for someone taller. I usually wear a medium in most things. I ordered a large in this because I was afraid it would be too small. All lot of these import brand wet suits have weird sizing and run small. I returned the Large for a Medium which fits snug and just right. I haven’t used it yet, but seems to be a good quality and has a good zipper.

Like: - Thickness - Design - front zipper, good quality zipper (so fa) - Reasonable price (unlike many of the 'big name' brands) Don't like: - No fit options that fit well (or even decently) for a 6'1 tall slim/athletic man. Available sizes are either WAY too short, ending at or above my navel, in order to get a moderately snug fit; or way too loose in order to get a decent length for my height. Ultimately disappointed since fit is important for wet suits of course Better fit for shorter and/or heavier set folks.

I live in Florida and we try to swim all year round (for exercise) either outside or at the pool at our gym. For both locations, I've have been wanting something that would keep me from being cold. This swim jacket works well for me. While some water does get inside, it is trapped between the material and body and somehow I am no longer too cold. I read all the comments, followed the sizing chart and purchased a size 3-4 times larger than I normally would get and it fits fine. Nice design as well. Well worth the price.
