Bluetooth junky approved!!. Nay, recommended!!
Oh my gosh!My period headsets include Jawbone era, jawbone new era, Plantronics voyager legend, edge, Conger, voyages pro, Bose series 2, h730,h710, Motorola whisper, blue parrot(big one for truckers), and many many more. My criteria: comfort, sound quality, sound quality for the person on the other end, noise cancelling (very important to me), appearance. This is the best one I've ever tested. The noise cancellation is unreal and exceeds the decibel rating of all others except the blue parrot. It is near exactly the same as the blue parrot. However, the blue parrot looks totally ridiculous around town!. This has a slick sliding mechanism for easy turning off and on. It fits the ear gels still sold on Amazon which ensure that it's comfortable and stays in your ear. It comes with a nice spring loaded hard case, high quality ear hook, car charger and a short micro usb that fits in the case. It also has a nano dongle for computer listening, which is handy. This is a keeper for me, and will be for you!Update: 7/1/17: So, I've had this for 2 years and 3 months. I have used it a lot. Of course, i sometimes use the Motorola whisper or the Plantronics Focus (when I want to listen to music and have great noise cancelling), or the Plantronics Voyager 5200 (for extreme all-day comfort)... However, I still come back to using this headset because it works great, I like the slide on and off feature, and it looks good. It still works like a champ. I have NEVER had a bluetooth work flawlessly for this long before. EVER. My plantronics, while half its age, start acting glitchy and disconnecting or doing annoying things. This one, however, still runs like new. If you're like most, normal people and you just need one bluetooth headset, this is a solid, reliable purchase, in my experience. The case has held strong and has been tossed into bags, sat on, etc over the years. The noise-cancelling is still best-in-class. In fact, it is what encouraged me to purchase the PXC550 to replace my glitchy Plantronics Focus (and has worked flawlessly as well). I'm sure there are people that had less than bright experiences, but I have to wonder if maybe they bought a used one that had ran through the washing machine or some other craziness. But, for me, I have to reiterate that I am still very happy with my purchase.

Great battery life, picky alignment requirements, uncomfortable ear inserts.
This headset is a nice improvement over the Jawbone Era headset I previously used. The battery life on this headset far exceeds that of any headset I have previously used. With a full charge, the headset reports between 8 and 10 hours of usage. I am not a constant user of a cell phone, but after making several extended calls during the course of the day, the headset still reports between 4 and 8 hours of usage at the end of the day, unlike the Era which began the day with a full charge of 4 hours, but generally dropped to 2 hours within the first 10-15 minute phone call. The Era was always empty by the end of the day. On the other hand, the ear inserts of the Sennheiser do not fit comfortably for me. The medium size is too small to really secure the headset in my ear. While the large size secures well enough, after a full day of use, my ear begins to hurt just a bit from the headset. Also, this headset seems quite picky on how it is placed in the ear. If I do not make sure that it is precisely lined up along the side of my face, the other parties to the call often complain that they cannot hear me very well. So long as the headset is properly aligned, the sound quality is very good at either end of the call. The claim of 25 meters range is overly optimistic.Update April 5, 2016After an extensive trial, I have concluded that this headset is pretty much terrible. Initially, it was occasionally plagued by sound problems on the other end of calls, which I attributed to its requiring careful placement. Things have just gotten ridiculous with call recipients constantly saying, "What did you say? You're cutting out. Are you saying anything? Hello? Hello? Hello?" In to the trash it goes and I will be going shopping tonight to try to find one that works. The battery life is the only reason this pricey piece of junk even merits one star.

Great sound quality, good battery life, easy to use, fits well: A+ headset
Overall, I was happily surprised that this Sennheiser headset is superior to any other headset I've used, including the Bose BT Headset v2.I've been using the Bose BT Headset 2 for a few years, but I just lost the second one of them. And now I find out the Bose headset has been discontinued, so no more left ear models are available out there. So I began the sad hunt for a new headset. After a lot of research I decided to try this one. I'll compare this device against the Bose against the factors that I think are key to a great BT headset:* Excellent sound quality: both mic and speaker=> Sennheiser has slightly better speaker, both have great mic quality* Good volume level=> Sennheiser has slightly better volume* Comfortable / secure to wear=> Bose is slightly comfortable, but Sennheiser is lighter.* Wind noise reduction=> Bose is slightly better on wind noise reduction* Battery life=> Sennheiser is much, much better on battery life (6-8 hours of talk time vs no more than 2 hours for the Bose)* Easy to operate=> Sennheiser is easier to operate and has more features. It's a little more complicated to use as a result, but the basics are the same.* Switching between phone and computer=> Sennheiser is better: it comes with a "dongle" that you plug into a usb port. This creates a special connection to your device. It is really easy to switch between phone and computer. If a computer call comes in (skype, google hangout) it rings on the headset and I can tap to receive it. Similarly I can do the same if a call comes in via phone. Very simple. The people I am talking with report that my voice is crystal clear ("5 by 9" as one pilot friend told me).
