Holy healthy hair! This brush has got to be my favorite of all time. I have fine long hair that has a tendency of getting frizzy and looking a little on the dull side. One of my stiff bristle brushes looked like it needed a date with the trashcan. Upgrade time. I flipped through quite a few brushes on Amazon before I came to this one. It sold me at "no pain detangler". If you have hair like mine, good lord give this brush a try. It's so gentle. I do bring this brush into the shower me and use it with my conditioner. I do not use anything fancy on my hair, I buy the Kirkland brand shampoo and conditioner. I apply a generous amount my conditioner (because long hair) to my hair then I get to brushing. I brush about 3-5 minutes to make sure it's thoroughly applied. Then, I leave in the conditioner until I'm done with washing my face, shaving, etc. Fast forward. I'm done drying my hair and BAMB healthy sleek looking hair! No extra hair product applied. I was floored with how shiny my hair was I had to do a double take. After I styled it I just stood there flipping it around while my boyfriend looked at me like I was nuts. Worth it! Five stars. There's nothing bad about this brush so far. Great sturdy good quality brush. Gentle on my knotty hair. Helps to make my hair look healthier. Edit: Gotta love autocorrect...

I don't normally write reviews, but I had to review this! 2 of my daughters have really fine hair, one of the two also has really curly hair that curls in about 1/2" ringlets naturally. After about 2 days of playing, her hair turns into pretty nasty dreads that usually take me at least a half hour with detangler to brush through. I find leaves, food, and fuzz in her hair as I'm brushing it out. I have to admit I avoid brushing her hair because it's so difficult and she cries almost the whole time I'm brushing. My girlfriend told me about this brush and I figured a 10$ experiment was worth it. I have been SO pleasantly surprised! I don't use it on her in the bath or shower, just on dry hair so far, but WOW!!!! Her hair brushed through in about 5 minutes! There were no tears and hardly any hair in the brush at the end (usually I feel like the brush is full of hair by the time I'm done). What a relief! My oldest daughter used it as well and loved it! Usually I can hear her hair breaking as she brushes her hair. Now? Not a sound! It's a game changer for us! We've been using it for about a week and it will be the ONLY brush I buy going forward. No issues with the sturdiness of the manufacturing, but we are not using it in water. My girls all love it and have already asked for one of their own. LOVE THIS BRUSH!!!!

I bought this brush for my daughter. She has naturally wavy hair and brushing her hair was usually so hard and painful for her. THIS brush is th ONLY brush she will use or ket me use on her hair. It is AMAZING! The bristles are strong but flexible and thin so they actually brush her hair all the way out, get all the tangles out, and my daughter is not hurting. There a small holes in the paddle so you can use while you blow dry your hair. The paddle design is perfect for brushing out wet hair. It definitely works for dry hair too. This is our 5th Wet Brush but our first paddle design and I LOVE IT! It is worth every penny. I'll never use a different hair brush for brushing our hair for myself or daughter again.

OMG I cannot say enough good things about this brush! I have thick, curly, bleached and dyed hair and it has been driving me crazy with how matted it gets these days. I typically don't use any brushes or combs on my hair and just detangle with my fingers while I condition in the shower, but it was getting to the point where it was taking like 5 minutes to do this and I was getting so frustrating that I was literally tearing some of the knots out. I first experienced this brush at a blow-out salon on vacation, and it is probably the first time ever it has not hurt my scalp when another person was brushing my hair. I made a note of the brand and vowed to try it out IRL. You guys... this brush is amazing. I use it in the shower and I just haphazardly throw on some conditioner and this brush gets all the gross knots and matting out of my hair in like 30 seconds, pain-free. As a curly girl, this is probably the only kind of brush I will ever invest in and I wholeheartedly suggest you do the same if you have difficult, tangled hair.

This is going to sound ridiculous but this brush is seriously LIFE CHANGING. This brush is a master detangler. It works like magic and SO FAST without pain. I did a whole infomercial post about it on my Facebook because I am that obsessed with it. I have very thin hair that some how manages to turn itself into one massive dreadlock just moments after being brushed, and my entire life I have had the most tender head that brushing my hair has been a nightmarish task. I have seriously avoided swimming at times so I didn't have to try to brush out dry, chlorinated, knotty hair. I HATE THE WIND WITH AN AMAZING PASSION for destroying my hair and causing even worse knots... I become very angry and aggressive as I try to brush out knots and need to keep people away from me while I do it because it hurts so much... It doesn't matter how short my hair is either, it gets CRAZY TANGLED SO FAST and brushing it out brings tears to my eyes. It's pathetic, but I'd prefer to look like a mangy dog than deal with the pain of my hair. If I had a better face, I would have shaved my head bald years ago. I showed my friend the foot long dreadlock my hair had formed one night while I simply sat at her house so she told me to try her special brush and I was incredulous at first, until that first couple inches of knots were brushed out like a hot knife through butter with no tugs on my scalp, no sounds of ripping hair and no tears coming to my eyes. I knew everything was different then. I went on amazon on my phone and ordered my own the moment I finished brushing out that horrid mess, which by the way took so little time because this brush gets the job done and FAST. Now I can laugh in the face of the wind, tease my hair into a glorious mess, brush out brittle chlorine damaged hair and overall, stop worrying about my hair and learn to enjoy it and experiment more with it. I wish so badly I had this brush growing up. I probably looked like some sort of wild feral child from the lord of the flies with knots and mats. So many screaming fights with my mom could have been avoided. Getting ready for so many fancy events would have involved so much less drama... I hope every parent with a tender headed child gets this brush. You'll be doing yourself and your child a favor.

I love this brush. I read many reviews on a lightweight, quick-drying paddle brush and this seemed like a safe bet at a reasonable price point. It really does all that it claims to. My curly hair blow dries much more quickly without pulling on my hair and now I spend less time straightening afterward as it's already quite straight by then. I will say that this brush arrived with some scratches (one pictured) and in a ripped open box with some pieces of the packing box in between the bristles. The brush in it's own housing was not padded in any way in the shipping box either which probably led to this condition. No big deal as it's just for my personal use, but had this been a gift... Would have been a 5 star rating if shipped properly!

I cannot stress enough how amazing this brush is. I have curly/kinky african-american hair and finding a brush that gets through matted knots is a nightmare. This product had a ton of good reviews, but I still purchased with caution. Thank goodness for Amazon's return policy, am I right?? Luckily, I didn't even have to think about that because I LOVE this brush so much! I usually dread hair brush day (I literally only brush my hair once a week because I dread it that much). I busted it out and OMG, the process was completely painless! I had to run my fingers through my hair to confirm that this brush was actually getting the knots out because I couldn't believe how little it hurt. If you have a squirmy child who hates getting his/her hair brushed, THIS is the brush you have been searching for (I would know, I am a 30 year old woman with the attitude of a squirmy child who hates having her hair brushed). Another plus for me, and one of the main reasons I wanted to give this brush a try, is the solid paddle to handle design. My last two paddle brushes that were half-way decent were constructed with a separate paddle and handle that were glued(?) together. My first brush broke at that weak connection while actually brushing my hair and the second one broke at the same spot when I dropped it on the floor. I am hoping since this brush is one solid piece, it won't have that weakness built into it. Also, my hair would often snag in the groove where the two pieces were connected and rip my hair out. Again, this is not an issue with this brush. I haven't tried the mini version of this brush, but I'm thinking about purchasing it for an upcoming trip I am taking. If it works half as well as this version, I'll be made in the shade and very happy. I cannot say enough good things about this product!! I am a real person, I have NOT received this product in exchange for a review, and I DO NOT work for whatever company makes this brush. I honestly LOVE how well it works. It is rare for me to find a product that isn't at least a little disappointing, but this one really left me feeling lucky and privileged to have found it.

Long post, sorry! I never thought something I got for less than $10 could change my life. I have hair down to my butt. In the last year or so, it has been getting horrendously tangled, whether I put it up in a ponytail, bun, braid, or just leave it down. When I brush it out, I was ripping clumps out of my hair in desperation to hurry up and just get it brushed out. Why hurry up? Because brushing the tangles out of my hair would straight up take me about 30 minutes or more, even if I had just brushed it that morning or the night before. (That's just to brush it out to wash it. That does not include washing time, or brushing/styling after the shower, which I was no longer doing because it was so painful.) I can't remember what I was doing online, but I came across this brush. I was skeptical. It cost no more than a brush you buy at your local Sally's, Ulta, or drug store. They might sell this brush there, but I didn't know that. I just read the reviews on Amazon and thought "well what's ten bucks?" because I was about ready to get a bob or chop my hair off. I was so sick of my hair. I ordered it and got it two days later with Prime. I eagerly open the box and find my two new brushes inside in nice packaging. I get them out, and I was honestly underwhelmed. The bristles were so thin and flexible. "There's no way that's even going to remotely get through my rats nest". I slept on my hair in a bun and decided to test them out this morning. I let my hair down, picked up my new paddle brush, and take just one stroke down the ends of my hair... Wow! But, my hair hardly ever tangles at the bottom. I work my way up and in less than five minutes, my hair was all brushed out! Not a single tangle, and the brush didn't snag once! Holy Toledo! I've been so excited, I have been texting my boyfriend (his hair is down to the middle of his back), mom, sister (hair basically as long as mine), everyone about this hairbrush! If you're like me, at your wit's end about how painful having your hair is, just try this brush! I hope it works for you like it does for me!
