Royal Canin Mini Adult Wet Pouches Dog Food, 85 g (Pack of 12)

My dog loves Royal Canin wet food. A good addition to Royal Canin dry food.

My 8 year old and 1 year old Chihuahuas had no qualms eating this! In fact, they love it so much that it was gone in no time. (That worked out slightly expensive!) I'm not personally a fan of the ingredients, as meat is not the first and main ingredient, but Royal Canin perhaps deserve some credit and my trust for their scientific approach to food. This is made for tiny mouths, for example. And with the link between heart problems and boutique pet foods, I have done a bit of a turn around in buying this for my boys and mixing with the specialised Chihuahua or Mini kibble, which they also enjoy. What I noticed is that my 8 year old didn't suffer from licking and gulping episodes, which I believe is excess gas and possibly acid reflux. On the downside is the packaging - in order to recycle it, I have to rinse and store until I go to the nearest recycling point. It can smell so I store it in a Keter box outside in an empty, sealed kibble bag. They build up a lot too, owing to the small pouch size. In my house, 85g doesn't go far. On the other hand, the pouch ensures freshness and at least it CAN be recycled and doesn't have BPA lining as far as I'm aware. The meaty chunks are perfect for little jaws and the gravy is irresistible to my boys, who happily eat their kibble when it's mixed with this. I've had to go elsewhere for my next order because it's not the cheapest here. I'll see how they go on it, as it does increase the price of feeding my dogs, despite their small size. I know I could feed something that has more meat for less per kg, but for now, this is the food they seem to enjoy most and at least I'm not throwing it in the bin.

Good quality, well packed so no splits. But recently am finding them too expensive. Dogs seemed to like them although only one flavour, so potentially fussy dogs could get bored

Food quality

Doberman Dog likes it very much. I mix dry dog food with this. This product will definitely be liked by all breeds of Dogs and Cats!
