Camco RV Water Tank Filler with Shutoff Valve - Quickly and Efficiently Helps Fill Your Water Tank and Eliminate Line Backflow - Features a 5/8" Tube (40003)

This is a very simple but very useful device that does its job and does it well. It's an attachment to a water hose that helps you fill a water tank via a "gravity fill" (i.e. non-pressurized) port. It does two things: (1) extends the hose into the pipe behind the gravity fill port, reducing spills, and (2) provides a useful valve to regulate and stop the water flow once your tank is full. It does both well; I have no complaints. This device isn't strictly necessary for filling your water tank, and I originally didn't think I'd need it. But now that it's solved the problems it's designed for, I can't imagine going back to life without it. For example, filling our water tank used to be a two-person job: one person to hold the hose to the fill port and watch for overflow, and another to hover over the water spigot (which might be some distance away) and be ready to turn it off at a moment's notice. Now the water flow can be turned off quickly via this device's valve, and we no longer need that second person.

It works, what else to say. Careful though, its plastic and can easily break.

Best thing i got to fill my RV’s water tank i was able to go back inside and check when it got full.

Bought this for filling our fresh water tank on our camper. The long nozzle is nice, and the ball valve for shutting off at the camper is very convenient. I don’t know how well this will hold up as it is completely made from plastic, but, for the price it was worth a try.

This fits my needs perfectly. In fact I later bought another for a different use.

Added this into the kit this year for the truck camper and glad I finally did. Its cheap and just works. Sure you can just stick in the end of your garden hose into the tank but just get this. Keeps everything much cleaner and also just easy with the valve added in.

Works great. can be used to rinse areas that are hard to reach.

The quality is good, been using for over a year now to fill my truck camper. A lot easier than shoving the hose in the downspout and hoping it’ll stay in. Good bang for your buck if your looking for an easier way to fill your camper fresh water tank.
