What a fun gift! Yes, it’s an novelty item. If you’re looking to type long term papers with it, it’s possible, but not practical. As for our family we enjoy it. Our son actually types his assignments just for the joy of using this keyboard. It’s not effective in bright light, but we expected as much. We don’t have any mistyping or key errors. It performs as advertised. Anything to keep the kids typing their own assignments is a winner in our book.

Can use anywhere

I wouldn’t buy one of these brands ever again. The 1st one I got it wouldn’t pick up the key strokes so I got ahold of the company and they sent me another one, the 2nd one picked up the keystrokes but in order to use the laser keyboard anywhere you have to find the right area to sit and use it because if the surface is to shiny it doesn’t pick up key strokes, if the surface is to light it won’t show the keyboard very well, if the surface isn’t perfectly flat then the laser keyboard just beeps, if it’s to bright outside or wherever your using it than you can’t see the keyboard. You have to be in a dark area with a very flat surface, it has to be a matte surface and not shiny area to it or you won’t be able to use it at all. The whole reason for getting a laser keyboard is to be able to use it anywhere, anytime you need it but you can’t with this one.

I am impressed with this keyboard. It is clear and responsive, making typing a breeze. The mouse function works seamlessly, allowing for easy navigation on my device. Convenient to carry anywhere. I am satisfied with this innovative product that enhances my productivity on my iPad

This is a very novel device that you can take anywhere. I keep one around as a backup key board and mouse.

Much better than I though it would be. Perfect for slow writers. Better in low ligh but it works in bright places too. The space and delete botton needs to be bigger and more responsive. Awesome mouse. Make sure to read instructions. It will help alot

Slow typing No standard keys layout Mode

This has been great. I can take it anywhere and use it! I don’t have to carry a bulky keyboard or mouse and it even charges my phone! AWESOME!
