FURminator Dual Grooming Brush for Cats and Dogs

Love this little brush, great for faces and shining up the coat. Also good for a quick pleasurable tidy up for the dog. Sturdy and expect it to be good for years as it looks good quality. Great for smoothing and brushing in coat finisher or end of groom glosser/leave in conditioning spray. Glides well. A good value essential grooming tool.

I bought this to replace my old dog brush after it was recommended by a friend. The rubber of the old one kept coming out, but this one is really sturdy. I have two long-haired dogs and this one copes with extended brushing well. The metal prongs at the edge do come out occasionally, but if you spot them you can poke them back in and they’re usually as good as new. It’s useful that it’s double sided, and I think it would suit all lengths of coat as a result.

This seems to glide through the fur on my maltese/bichon, rather than scraping through like other brushes have seemed to in the past. We got rid of all her previous brushes once we started using this. She sees me pick up the brush and jumps up to have it used as she loves it so much. So far it's hardwearing, have had it a couple of months now and it's still like new. Would definitely buy this one again once it eventually wears out. It's a tiny bit heavy but not in a bad way. The shape helps to get into places like the "armpits". The bristle side does seem to bring out more of a shine on her fur. The detangling side also picks up the fluff from underneath. My friend tried it on her King Charles spaniel and asked me to get one for her as she was so impressed.

Nice comfortable brush to hold, easy to use. Looks well made. Removes loose fur from my 2 cocker spaniels. It doesn't tug, it glides through the fur nicely and my dogs are happy enough to stand and let me use it. Update: after only 6 weeks of use, it is starting to lose it's pins. Considering it has only been used for fluffy puppy fur, sadly, I no longer think it is good quality.

Great good brush and in plastic, stopped the dog chewing the wooden type.

I needed a new pin brush for my long haired cat. The head on this is quite small and the bristles aren't really long enough to get through her coat. However, it doesn't pull and she loves her chin being brushed with the soft side so im keeping it as she seems to be happy with it

We bought this over a year ago and it gets daily use. One of our cats loves it so much he sometimes reaches up to the shelf it’s on, when he’s being fussed, and pats it to indicate he wants to be brushed. The bristle side is the favourite. It’s well made, pure bristle, and is still as good as new. The more spiky side has little balls at the end of each spike (like a good quality brush for humans) so it doesn’t hurt the cat and these act as a massager. I’ve seen similar brushes where the protective ball comes away and so it can become sharp but there’s no fear of this with the furminator brush. These are so good I’ve bought another two for friends with cats.

La FURminator non solo elimina i peli sciolti, ma trasforma la spazzolatura in un gioco di acchiapparella. Se riesci a convincere il tuo gatto a restare fermo, il risultato è un manto da passerella. E i graffi di gratitudine? Beh, quelli sono un bonus.
