Cast Fishing Net with Aluminum Frame, 0.8 inch Mesh, 7.8-13.8 ft Diameter

I really like the throwing ring and the size of this net. I also prefer the nylon netting better than monofilament netting.

As a person who lives with disabilities, I am able to use the 7 foot net with ease as a one handed net. Due to my disabilities, it became difficult to impossible to throw my cast nets anymore. I saw many nets that claim to have the ring that makes nets easy to throw. I was skeptical at first. Now that i have tried the net, i can see the truth behind the claims. I understand many have complained about the nets tangling, I have owned many nets ranging from 6 foot to 12 foot nets, every single one of the nets i have owned has tangled in one shape or form. It comes with owning cast nets. My advice is to untagle the net and throw it again. But with everything I have tried in the past, this net so far seems to be a decent one. Not the 350 to 400 dollar nets I still own. But for what i will be using the net for, it will complete its task. I may look at buying a larger net in the near future, but for next weekends fishing trip to the everglades to fish the invasive species roundup. It should work just fine. The value for the money is ok, dont know about the sturdiness till next weeks trip. And the size will work for now.

Ive been chasing catfish since i was 10 years old(50 now)and i have been throwing casting nets almost my whoke life snd thus thing is the only one i coukd never get to spread. The frisbee is way too small to be anything but in yiur way but wirst of all the weights are wasasy too small for the size of the mesh causing them to slip through the netting and tangle itself into ever woorsenig knots. I gave it the benefit and dpent four hours trying to use this thing and its not usable period. Hands down the worst net i have ecver touched and i fhriw mine until they are shredded ti bits but still work better then this net. I will say the msterial of the netting is good,nuce and soft but unfortunately coupled with the the wrong sized weights is what makes ut double in itsekf effectively tieung the net clised and not allowing it ti open…at all.. terrible product

Quality looks good for a beginner to practice with havent tried it to say if it works well but for the value is pretty good .

Honestly? This hoop doesnt help at all. I ignore the hoop and throw like a normal cast net. I will buy normal cast nets or the real, actual EZ Cast Net and not the knock off in the future. I dont recommend this product. The wrist band isnt bad and it is comfortable, well stitched, etc. but if you have big ole' manly man hands I bet it would feel tight. I'm female. The rope is a nice quality nylon; it isnt going to fall apart before your cast net wears out. I wish I got the lead and not aluminum weights so it would sink faster but they work well and are heavy for aluminum. I left them wet once for about 12 hours though... Yeah, it rusted. My mistake though. It rained and I booked it for shelter and got distracted. Dry and clean your cast net! Funny story. The first time I used this net was in a small, local lake so I could just play with it. Apparently there was an (approximately) 18" big ole' blue catfish that was dead... And half rotten... Fins stiff as a board and all those fun spines straight out. It was being held down by debris and guess what my cast net brought me? I almost lost my lunch while untangling this thing from my net. I tried to GENTLY shake it out at one point. It tore the HELL out of my net. So I cant say if the netting is super cheap and easy to break or if I just had the absolutely worse catch of the day. It catches my perch, minnows, shad, all wonderfully until I find yet another big hole that needs repaired... This net won't last me long at all thanks to the Undead Megalo-Catfish of Doom.

The net is very easy to use and is well made.
