Need to get rid of calcium buildup on pool tile? Get this stuff - it works!
Like the headline says, these pumice stock blocks just work. Not sure what other reviewers were talking about in saying that they didn't work. I have a salt water pool and noticed calcium build-up in certain spots and tried a different pumice stone product that was just ok. These blocks were just what he doctor ordered in getting the calcium off! Will you go go through a few of these as you clean? Yes, without question - especially if you're using them to clean tile that is also really close to the water (e.g., water line in the spa). But the thing is that they work - you just need to take the time to do a few passes over the same area to get all of the build-up off. Remember, these deposits form in layers, so you take off a layer or so with each pass. I used a total of 4 pumice stone blocks to get rid of the calcium spots on the water line tile in my 15x30 pool as well as along the water tile line in my spa. They worked exactly as advertised and removed the calcium without damaging the tile - and I have glass tile! One quick note, please don't follow the Youtubers who tell you to use a paint/rust remover disc with a cordless drill. Yes, this works but you end up thoroughly damaging and scratching your pool tile - use these pumice stone blocks instead. Yes, it will take some time (in my case, nearly 90 minutes of good old fashioned elbow grease) but you're in the pool, so it's a win-win! For what you pay, you get plenty of stones - I ordered 2 packs to have 40 blocks. If you clean the calcium build-up as soon as you see it, you will definitely use less of these stones over time. Highly recommend these for anyone with a pool!

Good price
I clean a lot and pumice stones work well on toilet rings. These will last awhile, but per item it was less than half price if I had purchased the stones from a local store.

Great product and price but ..
These sticks are as expected and at a great price. I clean houses and these worked well on gas stove grades and oven grates. My only problem with what them was that they were shipped with another package, and unwrapped book. The book ended up being covered in pumice stone dust. Dear Amazon, please don't package these in another box with anything else.

Removed Carbon from Enamal Cast Iron Pots
I bought these to clean my toilets because I can't handle paying for a single one on a stick that I need 2-3 to do one toilet sometimes. Anyway I figured I'd give it a shot at getting these carbon crud off of my expensive Le Creuset Pots. I would advise you to treat your $400 Le Creuset nicer then we have and don't over heat them (above a med high heat). My teen daughter was learning how to cook and didn't know any better. So anyway I've tried everything on this black crud, Barkeepers Friend helped a tiny bit. Finally I got the crud off with this pumice stone! I wouldn't suggest this to be your first thing you try because even thought it did remove the carbon buildup, it also took a bit of the enamel off. The ONLY parts where it did harm the enamel is where the cast iron was so overheated that it caused it to bubble and get a rough textured. But I was to the point of replacing these pots and that will take me a lot of saving up to do. I still will be replacing them but in the mean time we now have semi decent looking pots to cook out of. On a side note, my Le Creuset pots are very very old, like 10+ years. On the enamel parts that were not damaged by overheating, the enamel was not damaged by this pumice stone.

Honestly so impressed!
I was really impressed by how well these work overall. I bought them to clean the waterline tile in my pool, which had a nasty scummy line from the hard water in AZ and little plant debris would stick to it. So yuck. I'm glad I bought the 20 pack because I'm realistically gonna need around 10 to finish the pool. Definitely requires a bit of elbow grease, and prepare for the sticks to crumble near the end BUT they've made a huge impact (in my pic, left side hasn't been done and right had been quickly scrubbed). I was quoted $600-900 to clean the tile and while obviously my results aren't professional, it only took me an hr or 2 with breaks. I'm really glad to have extras to try out on the toilet bowl and shower tile. Fun cleaning tool!
