I haven't actually cooked on these yet, but I was very pleased to find parts available online, since Lowe's doesn't stock any. So, this is basically just an unboxing review... The grills are substantial and sturdy. They just fit the width of my grill, less room for grease to accumulate. I like the round profile, they'll be easier to clean. And they're the same on both sides, it looks like I'll be able to flip them over and cook on the other side, too..

The cast iron grates in my smoker were so decayed they were starting to sag where the iron had gotten the most thin. These fit my old Char Griller perfectly, they clean up with ease, and they seem to be better (though not perfect) when it comes to meat sticking to the grill. If I get another couple of years of use out of that smoker (I added the side car to it and absolutely love using it as a smoker now) this will have been more than worth the price.

There are no locating pins on the grills like the original grills had. I will go ahead and use them grudgingly. I don't why some reviews stated they were a perfect fit, not true. Length and width were correct for my 5650 Chargriller except no locating pins. Must be why they were cheaper than OEM grills from Chargriller. Buyers beware!

These are very nice grates. The ones that came with the grill rusted. The coating should do away with that.

These do not have the locating pins to position them in the grill. That was very dissapointing. So unlike the better ones I bought... These move around alot. Sad really. They have a picture of the correct grates, but ship generic ones.

Perfect fit. Would have been better with the end stoppers but overall very good product.
