The Vitamin Shoppe Omega 3 Fish Oil 500MG EPA DHA - Heart Health, Brain Function & Joint Support, Molecularly Distilled (240 Softgels)

Got here FAST. Arrived a full three days early. The fish oil itself seems to be of good quality. None of the typical "after effects" that I get with a lot of other brands. Labdoor rates this #4 with a A- on the highest quality rankings and is at the #1 spot for best value. I am glad I tried it as it seems like a great product so far.

I have no idea if this is a good product (how can you tell?), but I trust that it is. I take it at night because I do burp up a fishy flavor if I take it in the morning. Also, the bottle was very full when I got it (YAY!), but the caplets were and remain stuck together. I am still near the top of the bottle, so getting them out isn't much of an issue. But what about when I get near the bottom? I'd like to get caplets that don't stick together.

What can I say? It’s fish oil. They sent me what I bought. That’s all I needed.

I purchased these after reviewing A website ranking fish oil supplements and this brand ranked high on quality and affordability. So far I think it's great and I use it as a supplement since I still try to eat fish once or twice a week. I take one to two a day with a meal. It's not busy at all but I haven't cracked one open either.

Don't have much experience with other fish oils but this one seems to sooth my joints some. My wrists and hands sometimes ache but this seems to help. Also, I take it just before I go to sleep and it seems to help my body relax and fall asleep. Almost like a natural sleep pill(not the groggy kind). May have something to do with the fats being digested. Sometimes you'll have a salmony-tasting burp after taking it, but not too often. It's reassuring for me though, that it is genuine fish oil.

I read some perhaps "independent" review (hard to find real independent reviews on the web), and this brand was 2nd on the list. 1st brand was super expensive, so I bought this one . I like it. A few fish burps from time to time, but they don't bother me. Most supplements I've tried don't seem to do anything for me. This one seems to even out my moods a little during the winter doldrums. That's what I use it for.
