I’ve been using o.b. Tampons for years, and honestly, I’ll use nothing else. They’re compact, effective, and reliable—everything I need without the extras I don’t. Why I Stick With o.b.: ✔️ No Applicator, No Waste: I love that they’re minimalist and eco-friendly. Less packaging and less plastic makes a big difference to me. ✔️ Small But Mighty: Don’t let the size fool you—they offer excellent absorbency and stay put. Great for busy days when I need to trust my protection. ✔️ Unscented & Gentle: No irritation, no fragrance—just what’s necessary. Perfect for sensitive skin. ✔️ Discreet & Portable: So small they fit in any pocket or clutch, which makes them perfect for on-the-go. Final Verdict: o.b. tampons are simple, comfortable, and incredibly effective. Once you get the hang of using them, you’ll never want to switch. This is the only brand I’ll ever buy. 💪🩷

First time buyer and wasn't sure what to expect but overall good experience! Opened the box and was shocked how compact it was... wasn't sure if a single Obi tampon would absorb what I want it to. After fluffing it out, it was as big as Tampax regular tampons. HOW TO REMOVE WRAPPING: Took me a few times to figure out how to efficiently remove the wrapping without touching the clean tampon with my fingers/ hands too much as it will be going into my body... ** Check out the photos for a step to step guide!!** PERSONAL I am usually a light to medium flow gal, occasional heavy (usually the first day). Irregular flow as sometimes it can be light then medium then light again in the same cycle. Was using Tampax as it was more affordable than other brands I've tried. Decided to try a budget friendly Obi as necessity costs add up. In the recent period cycle, I used a Tampax super for the night as it is usually a larger flow. Then I started using Obi the day after. I change it out after 3.5 to 4 hours and it kept everything together. No leakage. I'm pleasantly pleased and want to continue using Obi on light to medium days. Uncertain how far can one Obi regular really go but it is currently matching the Tampax regulars. CONs 1. Hard to remove the plastic wrapping at first but after some practice, I am OK. 2. The plastic wrapping. It feels worst from my initial Tampax where they use paper wrappings and paper inserts. I guess the plastic keeps it compact..? 3. I am OK with inserting Obi tampons with my fingers. It may be an issue to some people. Although there are cons, it is a pretty good product to use and since I'm replacing Tampax regulars with Obi regulars, I consider this a win.

I wanted to leave a review because it was others' reviews that helped me decide to try these tampons. I understand that for some people this is a very sensitive/embarrassing item to shop for. But, if you are even looking at reviews, chances are you need help in deciding too, so no need to be squeamish. First off, these are surprisingly tiny. I didn't think something so tiny could really do much absorbing and blocking, but they did, and effectively so. The classic tampons and applicators really were designed to avoid "messy" fingers, so those are longer than they actually need to be. Yes, with these ob tampons your finger is the applicator, but, as I found, it is way less gross than one may think. If you change your tampons as often as you should, there shouldn't be any mess to speak of. These tampons are wrapped in clear plastic, which has a little tab in the middle that you pull to unravel. Once the middle tab is removed, you can slide off the two end pieces of plastic. According to the instructions, you use the string to widen that end by pulling it back and forth and side to side. Then use your finger to create a kind of dent which will give your finger tip a place to be while inserting it. Being that there's no smooth plastic applicator to glide in, taking a breath so your muscles relax as you push it in will help in avoiding discomfort. Once it is where it needs to be (which should be about a finger's length in), you shouldn't feel a thing -if you do, push it further. I found it to be very comfortable, even less noticeable than the classic tampons. I get very heavy periods, and I found this worked better than the classic regular tampons at absorbtion and preventing leaks. I really like the idea of less plastic waste. With classic tampons, we use A LOT of plastic with all the applicators we throw out during that week! I feel like these O.B. tampons make it a lot easier to skip the luxury of plastic applicators, because of their effectiveness, ease of use, and comfort. My best friend introduced me to this brand. This brand is so nice. The quality to me is better than the other leading brands. I highly recommend people to "don't knock it, til you try it". :)
