Studio 26c

I am a Studio owner with tons of gear and do extensive testing and recording with said gear. I own several pieces of PreSonus gear all the way to the flagship StudioLive 64S Series III. I picked up the Studio 26C as a portable interface I can grab and go along with my old 2011 MacBook Pro running Capture and StudioOne 4.5. I have run this interface thru its paces and it sounds and performs extremely well. Very stable with Universal Control and allows zero latency monitoring in Studio One. I am using the Pro version, but this interface comes with the Artist Version and some great plugins. Not sure why some reviews are giving low ratings and stating that the interface can't be used without a computer. Well, it is an INTERFACE! Know what you are buying. As far as sample rate and sound quality, this price point is awesome. Would highly recommend this product.

I have had this product for a few months now and I’ve been able to get good recordings with it. Good clean recordings. I haven’t figured out all the ins and outs of it yet but I have enjoyed using it here in my recording studio and in my classrooms. Set up wasn’t too bad. if you are used to this type of things then it would be quite easy for you. If you are a novice there is a little bit of a learning curve but it is not difficult. Very much worth the money!

Very easy to use, recognized by all the DAWs I have on my Mac. But some of them don't see the minimal buffer size possible, in contrast with StudioOne. However, it sounds good everywhere. The only drawback is that it is impossible to turn Line mode separately for inputs 1 & 2. You can plug and record either 2 line inputs (like electric guitar, keyboard) or 2 mic inputs. So you cannot play and sing at the same time for recording/performance unless you have a separate external preamp for one of the channels. But this is not my case so far. For the ones who would like to have separate control over line/mic preamps, consider something else like more major model of PreSonus or whatever else interface.

I have purchased several of these units over the last few years. They are reliable and produce quality recording, dual inputs, and great features. The Studio One recording package is a great recording software. The seller sent the item as a bare retail box. No outer packaging with cushioning material at all. Not the best way to send fragile electronics. It works fine now, but I don't know what internal damage may have occurred that could shorten the lifespan of the unit.

The Presonus 26C is a very nice audio interface with also provides midi ports, something many audio interfaces lack. The sound quality is good with both microphones and instruments. The big reason I made the purchase, however, if for the bundled software. While the interface alone is well priced, by the time you add the software bundle it is quite a good value.

I buy this audio interface mainly to work with electric guitars, the preamps sounds so good and the 4 TRS outputs lets you reamp the DI recorded, it feels solid and durable too. I like the software bundle that is included with the unit, the Synthmaster player and Ujam Rowdy are my favs. For linux users, it works but does not have controls on Alsamixer so the volume needs to be controlled from the software that you are using or the main knob, in Win or Mac is Ok.

Excelente placa. Recomendo.

I purchased this as an upgrade from my presonus audiobox 96 usb and there is a noticeable difference in sound quality. The audio interface has a solid build quality and easy to use. I also like the LEDs to indicate the volume level. I am satisfied with my purchase and worth the upgrade.

Unable to connect to the condenser microphone MXL 770, plz do help.
