Works well for home use
This is an awesome product. Ad Amazon offers it at an even more awesome price.I take a lot of pictures, but I am very lazy when it comes to printing them. I love that I can instantly have hard copies in my hand whenever I feel like it. As a scrapbooker, this printer has come in very handy -- esp when I don't have the patience to print bulk orders at a print site.Set up was extremely easy. Pretty much plug and play. Print quality is SUPERB. It's like professional if not better. The only complaint I have is that sometimes the first 1 or 2 prints are marred with scratch-like marks. It's probably because of dust or something. But, all other prints have been great.I would recommend this to anyone - in fact, I have. My sister bought it and loves it too.

Not a good printer.
When we received the printer we put the print cartage in and turned it on, we then got a message that we needed to replace the cartage so we opened the door and now we can not the cartage we just put on out of the printer, we need to return it and get our money back.....

A pro photographer's handy little printer
I am a professional wedding & portrait photographer...specializing in quality artistic imagery. I did A TON of research online looking for an affordable, quick, and quality printer to allow me to print 4"x6" souvenir prints for wedding reception guests. I purchased this little yellow bucket Canon printer about 3 weeks before I had a big Bridal Expo and was excited to try it out on shopping Brides...giving each Bride who stopped by my booth a chance to get photographed and take home a souvenir print. I was a little nervous...since I'd never EVER done on-location printing, let alone on a new product and experimenting on 3000+ potential new clients. ...I was amazing at that little printer...it ran, pretty much non-stop, for 6 hours...printing back to back. I ended up printing about 200 prints that day.I used a Canon 5D mark II camera, wirelessly triggering a strobe studio light, hooked up by cord to the Canon Selphy printer...and would just the direct printing option via the playback on LCD screen.Pros: Small & portable, SUPER easy use (print directly by Canon camera, or plug in memory card), good quality printsCons: It took a little longer than I expected each print would take. I was printing directly from my camera and didn't realize until beginning that I wasn't able to take another picture until the current image was done printing. That was a big draw back when I had a very long line of Brides waiting for their turn to be photographed. I didn't time it exactly, but I think it look a minute or over to produce each print.Considering the other products in the price range, this was the perfect printer for the job...I just need to order a second one and have two cameras going the next time I have such a large event.

I received this product on time. Ink cassette got stuck in it so it is useless to me.

Bummed a Bit
Bought this for my wife -All though she is not a pro at picture taking she do take quite a lot of photos. she received this as a Mother's Day gift to replace an old HP printer she had. She was looking forward to printing some 4 x 6 photos after reading the reviews here and was not very happy with the results.Set up was easy and that is where the honeymoon ended. She printed her 5 prints with one of them having words on it. The letters were blurry and after looking at the other pictures we noticed they were all blurry. My wife printed the same pictures on her epson 1400 and confirmed YES they were very blurry. Her portable HP had much better print granted it was a little mor expensive 3 years ago but--- technology should be better. She will use this printer only for wallet size pictures in her scrapbooking. She was hoping to to use the tons of 4x6 photo paper we have but no it take special paper! another bummer. Will not buy this again that's for sure.

I'm in love
I noticed there isn't any recent reviews for this amazing product.l wanted to provide some links for others who had asked questions about the size of prints it will do. I had those same questions myself and looked for the manual which tells you everything you need to know.http://gdlp01.c-wss.com/gds/7/0300001037/01/SELPHYCP770_PG_EN.pdfThis beauty will do lots of different sizes and will even do an index of pictures for you. I love the index because it means I can get the most out of one sheet at a time. I doubt I will ever use my home printer or send my photo's to a lab again. The pictures are crisp and clear and the menu options are quite vast. I decided on this model over the 910 because it was slightly used and very cheap. If you haven't tried a Selphy before or your on a tight budget this is the one to get. You will be printing out pics just like your facebook friends in no time and you won't have had to pay as much as the 910 users did. Something to keep in mind is the quality of the photo you are printing is only as good as the camera or phone you use. This printer won't replace a professional photographer but then I doubt you will be sticking those in your scrapbook, project life, midori or hobonichi anyway.

our selphy
Easy to use for an inexperienced person. We had a Kodak G600 and we sent more time talkingto someone from the help center in India. The Selphy cp 770 is on the same concept but, works.we purchased it about 6 months ago for my wifes scrapbooking. My wife has not needed anyassistance, which I like. The pictures are sharp and clear. Cost of use is reasonable. Would anewer model be better? I doubt it.
