Poor design
I was so looking forward to using this product but because there is no vent in the lid, the steam has nowhere to go but over the sides of the pan!

No good for induction
The poacher is not heavy or thick based enough for induction hobs

Medium eggs - not large
After a bad start (don’t use large eggs!!!) I now utterly love this poacher - use it gently and it will reward you with perfect poached eggs every time ♥️ (Two large eggs are too much for breakfast - two medium are perfect) put a tiny amount of butter in the cups before the eggs and they slip onto your toast like a dream - don’t boil hard, gentle all the way - delighted ♥️
