Really happy with this dashcam. The picture is super clear both in the daytime and at night, and it covers a wide area of the road. Setup was easy and only took a few minutes, and the menu is simple to use. I like that it records on a loop and automatically saves clips if there’s a bump or sudden stop. It gives me peace of mind knowing everything is being recorded just in case. For the price, this is a fantastic little camera. Feels solid, works well, and does exactly what I need it to. Definitely recommend!

Having purchased this model for my 18 year old daughters car about a year ago, its was the 2rd Orskey dashcam, front and rear we purchased, we now have 3 including their A12 model, all have been excellent products and so affordable. All are easy to fit, no issues with the suction mount for the front camera. Installing the Rear camera was simple too, couldn't believe how easy it was to hide the wire, I positioned at the top of the rear windscreen. we only have the camera active when driving powered via the cigarette lighter. Set up was just as easy, I found the instructions clear and having used the camera for some time the quality of the payback and sound is very good. but is better when you take out the SD card and watch on a laptop. i would recomend the A12 model as the playback is simple and very good quality on your phone if you dont want the hassle of looking on the camera or taking out the SD card. this model captured my daughter in an accident writing off the car (my daughter was fine) The video evidence proved my daughter was not at fault when the insurance tried to push for a 'no fault' accident, so the dashcam paid for its self 1000%. Having used Orskey products for over 18 months now I am happy to recommend any of their range

Bought the Orskey S800 Dashcam in November 24. Straight forward to set-up, and I am not that technically minded. I have a LWB vehicle so needed an extension cable to setup the rear cable but after contacting customer service team this was sent straight away. Most of the time setting up was tidying up the cables so they did not get in the way. Dashcam worked well with very clear images both front and back and didn’t have any issues until very recently when I wanted to view a particular clip when another car almost hit me when they cut a corner at a junction. It turned out that particular session had not recorded and after contacting customer service team, they advised it may be down to the type of SD card I am using so they are sending a replacement. Customer support in general has been excellent which these days is quite rare. Overall very pleased with my purchase and with the overall peace of mind it has given me and am looking to purchase another one in a few months for my wife’s car.

The first thing that I was impressed by was the very light weight of this dash cam - light as a feather, as they say. This matters, since my previous dash cam, a Nextbase, was pretty heavy and the screen suction cup kept falling off the screen. For this one, the very large and well made suction cup has only failed once, and that was through leaving the car facing the sun on a boiling hot day - nothing can stand that treatment. The engineering appears excellent too, very clean case mouldings and neat buttons, and the lens housing is particularly neat. Installation was as easy, or difficult, as any other dash cam - you have to find somewhere in your vehicle to plug the standard cigarette lighter power plug into, then run the wire back to the dash cam. So far I have not used the rear camera, but Orskey are sending me a free extension cable so that I can try it. The camera seems to perform well, clear pictures and a good image at night. Higher resolution would certainly be an advantage, though this dash cam does make it possible to read car number plates in most conditions. There is just that occasion, in poor weather, when a higher resolution would have meant the ability to read a number plate clearly, rather than guessing at it. But for this price this dash cam is brilliant. And I can also applaud Orskey Customer Services, as the power connector seemed to develop some kind of fault, and they immediately, the same day as I contacted them by email, got a replacement power cable in the post. Very responsive, well up to Amazon standards. So a good dash cam, particularly for the competitive price.

Firsty the delivery of this dash cam was very quick. No issues there. I also purchased the hardwire kit as I do not like wires everywhere in the car , charger cables etc. It cost around £75-£100 to get this installed professionally for both front and rear cameras but then thats it. This is the third Orskey S800 that I have purchased. Two were for myself (2x Cars) and the other was a gift. I can honestly say that for the money you pay for this camera it would be very hard to find a dash cam that will match this in terms of functions and performance. The dash cam is nicly presented and everything you need is in the box for plug n play (using the 12v cigarette lighter). The only thing I would say is prior to purchae Orskey could have given the option to either have the sucker cup option or the sticky pad option to fix the front camera to the windscreen as some may prefer one to the other or even better have both options in the box. So, onto the S800 dash cam. The dash cam, the SD card (32g max) and the hardwire kit it all came to around £75 without the fitting. Not bad at all if you ask me. It's a nice , neat size and not too bulky. I stuck mine behind the rear view mirror so when i'm driving and using the mirror I do not get distracted from the camera. I've also set the camera so that the screen is blank when driving to avoid distractions but you can have it on permenently when driving if you wish. It's really easy to set up , just toggle to each of the setting one by one and in order and choose your prefered options. It's really easy to do. The intrsctions are clear and easyto understand and also advise what each function does and what each setting / function means. Set up the dash cam to your prefered settings before you fix everything to the windsreen and make sure that when setting up at home you plug it in as it keeps switching off as no charge to the camera. The fixing that you attache the camera to is really solid and won't detach from the camera if you drive over bumps or rough roads. Another important thing to do is once you have inserted the SD card you have to format it within the settings on the dash cam. Format your SD card every 4 months or so and you should be ok. Once you have completed this task you are pretty much good to go. Takes around 10-15mins in totl toset up. Reviewing your footage is easy too. Just remove the SD card and put into your laptop and then select the designated SD card . There will be 2x folders. 1x for the rear camera & 1x for the front camera. The playback quality is very good in both daytime & nightime so no issues for me there. If you are looking for a reliabe no quibble dash cam then youreally need to conider the S800. Like I said before, you will find it hard to find a dash cam that can match this for the price. Hope this review helps...

This Orskey Dash Cam front & rear is a fantastic item. Easy to install & set up, really clear images & recordings from both the front & rear cameras. I had tried another more expensive dash cam but wasnt happy with the quality so i returned the item & purchased this orskey one. I have since purchased 7 of these for family members & recommended them to other family members who also purchased them. I would definitely recommend purchasing this orskey dashcam.

Easy to install. A good value camera. I like the rear view camera , very handy. The camera operation is simpler than other cameras I have bought. Front camera vision is excellent, rear camera good. Unfortunately the suction cup internals snapped, out of the blue a month after I had bought the camera, while the car was sitting in our garage. Maybe I had overtightened the fixing, I'll never know. Contacted Orskey by e-mail who quickly arranged to supply a free replacement and extend my warranty. Can't fault the aftercare service. Would definitely recommend this product. Update: 11Dec 2024. Received the correct part from China, but was also offered a trial of a new camera they were promoting. Thinking that I was getting this I agreed, but after numerous texts from a person called Vivian!!!! who requested my bank details and would reimburse me on receipt of new camera. This to me was a scam and I refused so the person ended the conversation with a sarcastic laughing emoji. So beware. I suspect the company is genuine, but not the employee.

So I had this for over a year before finally getting it fitted. Recordings were clear and sharp and probably better than I expected. I had no issues with the quality and initially the camera was well worth the money. However after removing the SD card to copy some recordings (they're all 3 minute long segments) to a PC I hit a problem. When putting the SD card back into the dashcam it disappeared down the slot. I contacted Orskey and they said they would extend the warranty from 1 to 2 years which was good. As Im in Ireland they refunded the price of the SD card which was also welcomed. However I couldnt get them to state categorically that they would repair or replace the faulty dashcam. I kept getting promises of a free trial of a 4K camera and they wanted me to add them to Whatsapp which I dont have. All their email replies were "copy and paste" jobs and left me under the impression that they didnt read anything I wrote. After 9 emails to them I ran out of patience and advised that I would be notifying Amazon and Trading Standards and they finally agreed a full refund which was done a bit earlier. The camera or dashcam obviously had a fault with the card slot and while customer service replies were quick they did tend to be repetitive. Im giving this a 4 star rating due mainly to the fact that Orskey refunded the cost of the camera and the SD card.
