Large Leaves
This loose green tea is delightfully fresh and flavorful. When brewed, the leaves expand and make a great cup of tea. There’s no/to little powdery residue. I reorder as soon as my stash gets low so I never run out. That it’s organic is an extra bonus.

Excellent
I like the taste. I’ve bought what’s probably the same grade of dragonwell from several companies and I keep coming back to this, it’s my favorite. You can pay more for higher grades of tea and it will taste different than this. Better than this? That’s up to you. For this grade of tea it’s the best I’ve found. I actually like it better than the highest grade of dragonwell.

Summer's Beverage
This Dragon Well brews a light bodied, pale yellow liquor. The trademark "asparagus" fragrance is present, as is the vegetal flavor. It has a slightly sweet and citric finish; lovely. The leaves are flat and there is very little dust. The leaves vary in size and color. For example, some leaves appear to be over-fired, with tinges of yellow. Most leaves are a dull, flat green, typical of average quality teas. There are also a number of beautifully bright green and fresh-looking leaves. Most of the leaves are whole, or nearly so. Some have bits of stem attached. I believe the unevenness of the leaves is a result of mass production, but really, that whole hand-picked, formed, and processed bit is now a myth, isn't it? For that quality, you'd be paying many times this price. This is a good Dragon Well for the price, and good for two or three brews. It's also good iced. Sippy, sippy!

Sticks and stems- with no flavor
I have bought from them a couple times. The first time the tea was OK it hardly had any flavor but if you used a ton you would get what you were looking for taste wise. The second bag I received was all sticks and stem and the tea leaves are long and cut inconsistent pretty much floor sweeping grade. Look at the picture...yum

Classic and excellent green tea...
I love this stuff along side the Gyokuro Japanese green tea. To me, it has more of the 'classic green tea' flavor that I really enjoy, and you get quite a lot of this product for what you pay (as opposed to the Gyokuro). The standards apply, of keeping the water not too hot, not too much tea to steep, and then 2-3 minutes per... but this stuff is a little less sensitive if you forget about it for a few minutes or even put very hot water on it. It's a 'must have' if you're looking to step up your green tea experience.

not top quality
I've been fortunate to have first tried Dragon Well tea in China where it is grown and loved it for the mild flavor. I ordered from Teas Etc. for several years until they didn't have any. I tried this and will not order it again: it has little flavor, it is clearly late harvest with big leaves and leaf stems. I'd rather go back to coffee if I can't find good Dragon Well.

Great tea and amazingly fast shipping!
My grocery store usually sells self-serve, bulk tea leaves, but with covid 19 they had to stop all sales where customers handled containers. In a panic I looked online and found Tealyra sold what I wanted. Granted I had to buy a bit more than I needed, but the price was right. It came amazingly fast, and the quality is excellent.
