This instrument measures the essentials:- AC/DC Voltage, Current, Ohms. It doesn't perform so well measuring frequency or capacitance. It has a rugged case with a protector and comes with a fair set of test leads. It has auto ranging, which is good. Many a meters has been destroyed because the user forgot to set the correct range before use. The continuity tester is important for tracing your wiring etc. Its faults are that the back light doesn't stay on for long enough, It should stay on for at least 3 minutes, with the option to turn it off manually, should you want to. Should you want to hold a reading, you need three hands, two to hold the probes and one to push the button. The meter goes into auto switch off, right in the middle of using it. It should only auto switch off if it has been standing idle. Furthermore, the timeouts should be changeable by the user. But maybe you would find that on a more expensive meter. So all in all, it's a good meter. But it definitely has things which let it down.

Works great, great value for the money

Trying to find an electrical fault on my motorbike with low knowledge and a 20 yr old miltimeter didnt go too well. Saw this, read the reviews and watched Youtube. All looked good. For £13 it was a fair gamble. I am impressed! Easy to use, autoranging for resistance is brilliant and little features such as dust caps for the banana plugs and sleeves for the probes just adds to a well thought out device. Really pleased.

Good for the price simple to use wish the light would stay until I'm finished with it

Solid hand-sized multimeter which does everything I need it to do. The supplied probe leads are, as you would expect, not great quality of course however I am pleasantly surprised with the extra alligator-ended leads which are good. No storage for the leads on the back of the meter. I had to replace the supplied 9v battery as it was flat as a dab. The backlight is bright but goes off after 20-30 seconds or so for some reason but I am probably being picky. I have no Idea how accurate the readings are but I don't really care as it's not that important for my needs - if it were necessary for me to have super accuracy then I would have to pay much more. Overall even with the above mentioned niggles this is a good buy IMHO.

Really enjoy the product, would recommend it for hobbyist just like myself.

Habe den Multimeter für eine schnelle Durchmessung eines USB Ladekabels mit verbautem SMD gebraucht. Der Versand war echt schnell. Die Qualität des Multis ist echt gut, hätte mit weniger gerechnet. Verarbeitung und Handhabung sind tadellos, alle Werte werden exakt ausgelesen und angegeben. Von mir eine klare Kaufempfehlung.
