Great quality for a cheap price

Perhaps my expectations as to how this device would work were too high but I, a priori, thought that separation of the egg white from the yolk would be much faster and would occur w/o any input from me. In order to effect separation I have to "manipulate" the utensil by gentle shaking and tipping to and fro. I expected the white to just drop out once the broken egg was placed in the cup. Otherwise, the design is nice, sturdy and well made of stainless. I particularly like the manner in which the downturned lip makes it easy to sit the device on any small cup, bowl or prep dish.

They’re so cute! I prefer metal measuring spoons so the measurements don’t wash off over time. Im using them for my home made hair and body products.

This is easy to clean and large enough that even jumbo eggs won't spill over the top. Unlike the plastic one from Tupperware that I am replacing, this will not stain - or melt when set too close to a hot cooktop! My wife is very pleased with my thoughtfullness which makes this a great buy for the relatively low cost as I expect it will last for years. The handle is easy to hold or it can rest balanced over a measuring cup. The steel is sturdy and if you have magnetic storage it can be stored there.

The strainer is great. Gets the job done and keep my hands cleaner, that's for sure. It is a little too big but I'm having mixed emotions on that because I can get two eggs to fit in it so it can be a benefit. Sometimes it breaks my yolk but all in all I love it.

Just tilt it back and forth to allow the whites to drip away. Takes a small amount of practice, but no big deal. You'll have it down after the second try at worst. Only not 5-star because the handle is a bit short, so it won't prop up on a mixing bowl very well.

We needed an egg separator for our wet bar; one that didn't take up a lot of space but also not cheap looking. This is a great little tool for our needs.
