Great sound
I had to change the size of the spade connector to get them to plug into my very old spreakers. But what a diffence they made to the sound. Highly recommended!

Great replacement woofer.
Used this to replace an 8” in a Peavey Micro Bass amp. What a difference! More bass with the mids more defined. An excellent speaker. Had to change the connectors on the amp to get to fit but no big deal. Thank you!

Awesome speaker!
I had a 25 year old KLH bookshelf speaker and the foam finally blew on it. Was going to get a foam repair kit for about $20 but then saw this for about 15 more. Really can't beat the price and compared to the speaker that was in there, it's substantially more well built. Popped it in and sounds great. hard to tell but I think better than the original. Handled heavy bass and loud volume just fine. Great stuff!

Nice mid bass and at a good price

Crisp, Clean & Solid Sound at Budget Price
I ordered this PRV AUDIO 8 to replace the factory 8 inch in a Fender Frontsman model 15R. I have the 15R connected to a nine piece Yamaha digital trap set in my home music room. Even though I have the full signal ranging from kick base to crash cymbal running through the 15R with this new speaker, the sound is crisp, tight, and distortion free (at ordinary detectable levels). The Frontsman delivers ~18-20 watts true RMS into 8 ohms which is a good match for this very high efficiency speaker. I get plenty of sound for a practice room without driving the amplifier into distortion. I have not played a guitar through the speaker yet but its performance on the drums suggests it will do very well. NB: speaker and amp ratings are inflated these days. I would not expect this speaker to handle anything close to 450 real (RMS) watts, even in a tuned sealed enclosure.

Great speaker for the money
Hard to believe how good these are for the price. I got them and was bery impressed, but thought,,,man.... If I could get better sound for $50 more, why wouldn't I. Big mistake. Bought a more expensive, better specs, better (Poly cone) material.... So disappointed in the (On paper) better, more expensive speakers. Get these if you need 8"s.... You'll be happy.
