Amazon Basics Cat Litters Pee Pads, 40 Count, Universal Fit for Litter Box, Odor Control with Lemon Scent, Purple and White

I love this product!As a long time breeze box user I have tried many different options for cat pads. For me these are the best. I currently have one cat that uses these but in the past I have had 2 cats. I have these on subscription!* What works for me:The size of the pads, fit perfectly box tray.*They absorb well and do not spill over, they hold liquid waste well and I find I have to change the pad every 5 days ( my cat only uses two spots in the box so the pad has to take a lot in those two spots.* these are cost effective for me and I believe they are better quality then the brand name product. I purchased some *brand name* when I ran out of these and I was unhappy with the result of that product and put these on subscription. The brand pads are still in my garage for emergency back up.* Ingredients and thickness I feel that the ingredients of the pad are just right, the urine gels or absorbs I can pick up the pad without fear of spillage. The thickness is great for maintaining the absorption.* bulk packaging from Amazon is great I love the box they come in, it’s easy to store and keeps the pads clean.*What doesn’t work for me.Oder control, if I don’t change the pad after 5 days the odor can get strong, there is nothing added that neutralizes the Odor like some of the other pads I’ve tried. Other than that I can’t complain about this product at all.**General things have found that make a differnce with this system.* I use “Press and Seal” to line the tray I find that it keeps the tray from absorbing urine odor since the company doesn’t sell replacement parts. I change this once a month.* I use an extra large charcoal doggy pad cut in quarters under my pee pad for just in case to keep urine from absorbing in to the plastic tray.I have only had Amazon pads leak a few times and I’m sure it’s been because of my failure to stay on top of changing my pads and to be honest when I had 2 cats using the box I would have to change pads every 3-4 days but I still feel these pads held up as well or better than brand name pads. I will forever be a loyal user of these. Just with they had better odor control but I understand not everyone would be a fan of added chemicals.

Got these for Tidy Cats Breeze litter boxes. When my cat became diabetic, he was peeing a LOT more but regular litter was not cutting it, so we tried several other litters and boxes. The Tidy Cats boxes with the drawer for a pad worked best for him by far. Was very happy to find these that fit, function comparably to name brand, but are easier on our budget.We have also used these while fostering ten kittens to line their areas under blankets so if they made a mess, it didn't soak through to the floor. Fostering so many kittens had lots of mess, so there came in handy and were sturdy enough to withstand kitten destruction.

As a veterinarian, I personally love using the breeze litter system, so I can catch a urine sample whenever needed without having to bring my own cat in to the hospital. It also lets me monitor what his urine looks like and how much he is urinating on a daily basis… These pads fit perfectly in the Breeze system’ s tray. They are highly absorbent, my kitty is a bit older, but he does not have any metabolic diseases at this point. I don’t have to change the pad for about 5 to 7 days on average. It traps the urine and the odors perfectly! And let’s face it… Male kitty urine is pretty stinky. This is my second pack of them, and I don’t plan on changing anytime soon!

These pads were purchased to put in the bottom of the litter box - not a tray, but the actual bottom of the pan with litter on top. I wish they were a little bigger, but they do absorb well! (It helps to soak up some of the urine and makes the box smell less when you change them every 2-3 days.)Overall they’re decent and probably work wonderful for the tray litter boxes, I just personally wish they were a little larger for my purpose. I may look for bigger ones, or may reorder these since they do work ok.

Well done!! Less expensive and works well. I’m much happier to spend the money on these than the name brand. It fits the tray exactly. Holds the liquid well and the savings mean it can be changed more often. I change it anyhow but it meant I had to spend more money. Here, I save and change the pad as often as I like it. Thank you for a well made product. Ease of cleaning:Easy to clean the tray.

So these obviously are just absorbent liners for litter boxes and pet cages. We’re using them as liners in a rabbit hutch. They work quite well. Rabbits are creatures of habit and they tend to urinate in the same general area each day, so having these under those areas makes cleanup much easier. We buy them in bulk packs of 60 or more to get them as cheaply as possible; as long as you buy them in bulk they’re a good value.

Why did you pick this product vs others?:I picked these because of the description and because of price. I was NOT disappointed.I used these in a litter box for my 21 year old cat.They fit nicely in the litter box and was diaper-like absorbent. When I folded the used pad to throw away - nothing leaked!These were awesome and I would HIGHLY recommend them.Purrfect fit for the litter box.

These pads are the right size and when you open the box they give off a scent that smells decent.They don't hold smells very well. If I don't change them daily, they will smell of cat urine. The name brand pads last a week with no smell. I can't deal with the smell and these are not cost effective in managing that.I would not order these again.
