By far the best purchase I have made. I never knew I needed this until I got it. Makes measuring on leather a snap for rebinding and getting that perfect center line. Heavy and durable. Best ruler EVER.

This ruler does what it is supposed to. It's thick steel and has very clear markings - I especially like the centering mark - a really handy new feature I've never seen before. The only noteworthy feedback I have is that the edges really need deburring - I am having to take care not to drag the ruler on my paper - at least one edge of my ruler can stratch the surface.

I ordered 3 centering rulers. They were a good weight and all the markings were clear and concise. Excellent value and will be used for a long time.

I bought this for myself so I could have something larger than a 12 inch ruler for my crafting projects. Then my husband saw it and now it's in our garage for our woodworking projects. I'm not too upset though. This is a great ruler. Easy to use and seems very durable. We absolutely love the center finding feature on the one side!

Easy to use. This tool makes finding the center of your wood an easy task. Accuracy is right on and it’s easy to read, and it’s made well. That’s all you really need to know. Buy one and see for yourself.

I didn't expect this ruler to be this hefty. This is the best ruler that I have ever purchased. It's engraved, which means that the scale won't rub off. The only Con that I have is the sharp edges. I guess that they forgot to smooth the edges after stamping out the blank. A little bit of fine sandpaper will fix this problem.

The biggest bummer here is the back side is totally blank. I just see another entire surface that could be use for marking but its totally blank. It seems to be flat, not too thin and not too thick. We'll see how the markings hold up but so far seem to be good and are easy to read with my aging eyes. I should point out that it was not advertised as being double sided but after having it made me wonder well why isn't it. The center finding markings is nice to have. One thing that isn't so great is that you can't really use the edge to start your measuring. The scales appear to start or end maybe 1/4" away from the edge. I did not measure the exact distance but ZERO did not start at the edge. On the upper scale this is intended because ZERO is in the middle of the ruler but on the lower scale, the left side is 0 and the right side is 24". The only problem is the offset so you can't use the straight edge for measuring that way which kind of sucks. Not a very well thought out design in my opinion, it certainly could be better.

Wanted a nice metal ruler like my dad had for some jobs at home. This fits the bill. Very clear and easy to read.

Just the right thickness, bends on rounded surfaces. The increments could be a little darker, would be easier to see.
