My DNA suggests that I have a dna link, via a haplagrouping, that a certain pharoah and I are connected and so I was pleased to learn that I could have an authentic egyptian cartouche with my name crafted in hieroglyphics, in Egypt, and for a very reasonable price. I was concerned that the item would not arrive on time for my birthday but it actually arrived six days early and nowhere near the projected Amazon shipping date. I am very pleased with this item. The craftsmanship is very apparent. The seller is very dependable and, again, the cost was very reasonable. Always remember, when paying some other artist for their skill and time and so on, price should not always be a roadblock to getting something desired.Amazon sent me another request to review this item after I had already done so. This time I am submitting a picture of my cartouche, again which I am very pleased with. I changed the chain to the black one shown because the one sent looked too feminine. I read someone else's review where they were dissatisfied with "tarnishing" and I am not experiencing this issue with mine (at the present time).

Sp expensive, but so worth it. My mom bought me a couple cartouches when I was younger and they were stolen when our house was broken into many many years ago, and I could never find the exact same one until now. These are exactly like the ones I had when I was a teenager and they are made in Egypt like the original ones! I love mine and have ordered 3 so far one for me, my son, and his father. I am going to order the green emerald one, and the blackish next. I have the 18 kt gold cut out, the 18 kt complete gold with back, and the silver and gold mix. I love each of them the same!

Bought for each of my daughters and they loved them. The craftmanship is very nice and looks beautiful with a nice sterling silver chain. My only gripe would be that it takes several weeks to receive, since the jewelry is customized (with the person's name). This pushed delivery past Christmas, which was disappointing. That said, love the look and feel of the jewelry.

OMG!! I just received my cartouche today, it is absolutely STUNNING! It spells out my name Deborah in hieroglyphics. It came really fast, esp. considering it was custom made for my name and sent from Cairo. I couldn't possibly be happier! It came in a pretty little white gift box, and in a red velvet bag inside that, along with a small brochure that explains about a cartouche, and hieroglyphics, and has the hieroglyphics symbols for the alphabetic sounds and common symbols. Absolutely worth every penny!!! And a LOT cheaper than flying to Egypt for one ;)I took this picture of the cartouche, the velvet bag, the box and the little brochure :)

Absolutely beautiful! Very detailed with exquisite craftsmanship. Includes a card that has an explanation of the symbols and the sounds they represent which is very informative and fun to read. Estimated delivery was Oct 5 - 23, which I thought was reasonable seeing it was made and shipped from Egypt. It actually came early, arriving on September 29. I've wanted one of these for a long time and was leary about ordering this online so I looked at a lot of dealers. I feel that I made the right choice. I would definitely order from these artists again.
