no ordinary chili/garlic oil--!
I bought this to use with Natto (I'm new to Natto-making), and it unexpectedly had a tiny bit of crunch. Wow! And it tastes SO GOOD! I'm sure the regular chili/garlic paste/sauce/oil would be fine, but this stuff is fun.

Delicious but costly
This is very delicious and I can use it in so many recipes. It works perfectly to make my own kani salad, and I've also used it in a variety of other recipes. I could eat this out of the jar with a spoon. The crispiness of the garlic chips is especially enjoyable. The ingredients in this are a lot better than most of the other brands, or at least most of the other brands available on Amazon that I compared it to. It doesn't have any horrible preservatives in it like so many others. If it weren't for the price being rather high for the amount received, I would order this regularly. As it stands, I only consider ordering it for special occasions.

Authentic Garlic Chili Oil
This Chili Oil is delicious! Spicy and you can definitely taste the nutty garlic chunks. It is authentic. I enjoy this with any type of Asian dish, especially dumplings, ramen , and sushi. I would give it 5 stars except I feel the price is a tad high for the jar size.

Great with all types of food.
I usually pick up several bottles of this chili oil with fried garlic when it is available. I use it in salad dressings, marinades, toppings for all sorts of meat and vegetables. Can I say I love this stuff. It is pleasantly garlicky without being overwhelming. I love the crunchy garlic and the chili oil is spicy enough without being burn your tongue hot. This is the first time I have gotten a bottle that had the nutritional values and ingredients in English. Most of the bottle has only Japanese characters on it. I found out that it has MSG in it, but the quantity does not seem to bother me as it does when I go out to eat in Asian restaurants. It sounds like I am pouring it on everything, I wish, but the serving size is one teaspoon and that is about all I was using before I could read what it said in English. Others have mentioned that it is expensive, but considering the quality and that one doesn't use much at one time, I feel is worth cost. If you haven't so far, try it.

Warning: May cause obsession
Bought this on a whim, now I’m putting it on everything except dessert (so far). It add a beautiful red color to my eggs, rice, or noodles! The flavor bomb that goes off in my mouth is unmatched. The crispy/crunchy garlic is dangerously good. If my family finds me in the kitchen at 2AM eating rice straight from the pot, blame this chili oil.
