Durango Men's 11" Harness Boot

1)Fits exact size. Was not half size bigger or smaller. The boot is perfect in fit and color. 2)Better looking on my feet than in the picture. The dye color is solid over every inch 3) It is very comfortable yet I may put a more comfortable insert in but in all reality it does not need it. I would only do so for shock absorption. 4) Pricewise this was the cheapest price I found anywhere on the net. 5) The boot is solid construction with quality leather. The sewing is tight and the soles are done correctly. This is not a cheap knockoff boot. This is a genuine harness boot. Other companies may produce more expensive harness boots but I doubt the quality is any better. Durango has a new customer.

These boots are what I expected from the reviews, I like them, I also have a black pair and wanted to mix it up with Brown. Decent quality and look good. I like the distressed look and they will go with just about anything. On sizing, I usually wear EE on boots but the EE's I ordered at first had my feet "swimming" in the boot. Probably because of the square toes which gives more up front room because normal, pointy toe cowboy boots, hurt in M width, pinch front of my feet aggravating my neuromas. I ordered 9M and they are snug but are breaking in well after a couple of days and the return process was awesome, I had the replaced, proper size boots, 4 days after my initial order.My only con on these is that they come with thin, non cushioning insoles, I put some in from a different pair of boots and it is a world of difference in walking comfort.

Just got my boots and was a little skeptical when I first put them on. The stacks or openings to the tops of the boots are so narrow I was afraid I’d never get my size 12 wide feet in them. But, with a little effort they slid right in. They are a little snug but any new boot or shoe is right out of the box. As I said, I usually wear a size 12 EE but I took everyone’s advise and ordered an 11 1/2 EE and they fit great. No heal slip and my feet don’t feel like they’re jammed up in them. Great quality leather and excellent construction. I love the thick heel rubber as I tend to wear them down quite fast, I also ordered some heel protectors to put on them to keep that from happening. I only gave 4 stars for now because I want to come back and update after I’ve had a chance to wear them for a while. Very satisfied customer here so far though. Update: it’s September 24th and I was getting ready to go for a ride on my bike and putting my boots on when I noticed a tag inside the boot on the pull-up strap, lo and behold! The tag reads “Made in China” !!!! I am furious! All the product information I saw claimed these boots were made in the USA! Liars!!!!! Had I known this I would have never bought these boots. I am very disappointed with AMAZON

I needed new motorcycle boots and had Harley Davidson harness boots 20 years ago when I was riding all the time. I tried the HD boots again this time. They are at least $100 more than these Durangos and are cut in a bizarre way that made them almost impossible to get on my feet, and they didn't fit well at all. I sent two different pair back. These Durangos are the identical boot without the HD logo and I saved $100. They are cut properly- straight down the back, rather than with an inward curve near the bottom of the shank like the HDs have- and are easy to put on and take off. They do run large, so following the recommendations of others I got 1/2 size smaller than what I wear and they fit well.

I chose the distressed brown in the 13 2E size. The fit is fine for my feet. I sometimes get a 2E that will pinch my toes together (not good). These boots provide the right amount of room and space for all my toes. Although I don't wear them everyday they do get subject to the rigors of weed abatement day. I've found the 11 inch tall boots not only stylish , but also practical. The calf high leather keeps out all debris that the weed trimmer flings at my feet. Cleaning these boots is easy and simple. With a container of saddle soap and mink oil and a few minutes of buffing my boots look like new. I can't comment on the durability of the rubber soles since I've only had them a short while. If the leather wears out before the bottoms I will be satisfied I got my moneys worth. Nice boot at a fair price

Review written after 2 weeks of use. I bought these to be my go to motorcycle boots, and so far they are pretty good. I did what most people have stated and bought a half size smaller. I normally wear 9.5 and I bought size 9(D) medium.When I first got them and tried them on they where extremely tight/snug almost to the point that I was thinking of sending them back. Except I did what you are supposed to do with new leather footwear and I wore them for a full day. At the end of the day the boots had loosened up enough so I can put them on easily. I want to also state that they do NOT come with insoles so you need to get your own, this is not a complaint but only a statement. I knew they would not have them and was prepared when I got them.The construction is solid, with no signs of shoddy work. The heels are attached by nails(I think) I cannot see if they are staples or nails.The leather is pliable and the boot straps are sturdy (so far). I have only worn them for about 2 weeks.The boots came with some kind of dressing on the leather, not sure if it was waterproofing or not. When tested, water did not bead on the boot, so I applied BEAR Leather Dressing to the boots(boots are now darker in color) and now they are darn near waterproof. I have worn them on multiple occasions on rides during heavy rain and thunderstorms. The boot stayed dry inside. I really do not have any serious complaints right now, and that is why it gets 4 stars. I did not give it 5 stars because I have not had them for very long and I cannot attest to the durability/longevity of them.
