E1 ENTERTAINMENT MCLEOD'S Daughters

My wife is hooked on McLeod's Daughters and is completely satisfied with this method of viewing! She first got hooked when it was on one of our U.S. cable channels, but it was dropped after the 3rd season. Then there seemed to be issues getting the acceptable DVD format for US players. Finally, all the seasons are available and she can get her "fix!" For my wife, this series is #1 and she does not watch other soaps. For U.S. viewers: if you remember "Dallas", then McLeod's Daughters is an Australian production of similar proportions, but more believable. This series is well acted & well done! Some will find this priced expensively, but the price per episode would be similar to Itunes' prices and there is no puzzle for me in shopping for a present for my wife! A+++++

I just love this show. First saw it when visiting family in New Zealand recently, couldn't get enough of it. When I returned to USA I brought the DVD's through Amazon. There's no hype and glamor no rich and famous..just real down to earth country girls making an honest living on a cattle ranch in Australia. Each day is different and keeps you wanting to go back to see what's coming up next! I just love the characters..the cast is brilliant! Look forward to sharing this with family and friends..beats anything else on TV today!!! Dunno what I'm gonna do once I'm through all the episodes! [probably start over].

Season Three of McLeod's Daughters brings more heart-warming stories, a deepening of relationships, and unexpected tragedy. The stories are told in such a way that you feel like you are right there with the characters, like you are a part of their close circle of friends feeling what they feel. I thoroughly enjoy the series and each person that I have shown the DVD's to now considers him/herself a McLeod's Daughters fan. It is a show for men and women of all ages who enjoy animals, rural life, independence and family.

Love this show! Now have all 8 seasons, though Season 1-3 are still the best. Good family entertainment about people who love to work on the land and will do what it takes to keep the homestead. Camaraderie and commitment. A wonderful mx of drama and comedy and the music written specifically for the storylines is excellent. Ya can't miss...Enjoy!

Definitely a chick series and the outback scenery is beautiful.

I am sure this DVD is just fine. I wouldn't know because I didn't open it. I bought it for a giftee who already found it elsewhere. I contacted you and have heard nothing. Please contact need to return this item.
