Bosch Neff & Siemens Washing Machine & Dishwasher Anti Limescale Descaler

I have an 18" Bosch dishwasher and have a lot of minerals in the water. This product cleaned the huge mess of mineral deposits. Definitely recommend.

I was surprised that you use the entire container. You can smell the chemicals at first…so turn on your vent if you are sensitive otherwise it is mild. My dishwasher is clean and smells brand new. Leave yourself plenty of time because you have to run the hottest, longest cycle twice. Wish I started running it earlier than I did…. Started mid afternoon and went past dinner. Definitely had to eat out. I tried using other methods to clean my dishwasher…vinegar and store bought cleaners. My dishwasher had gotten to the point where it wasn’t rinsing the soap completely and a discoloration had developed. Nothing I tried worked, it only got worse. NOW, I am so happy it is clean. What I am unhappy about is that my less than one year old dishwasher got this way in the first place. Never had this problem with other dishwashers I have had. I have to wonder if the dishwasher was installed incorrectly or just the way the machine is made. My guess is that it isn’t draining properly.

I am glad I did it on a Bosch dishwasher that is 9 years old. Lately I had the feeling that the water intake took too long and since we live where water is extremely hard I thought the calcifications might have caused that. Anyways— I used the product and now I cannot even hear the intake process. Also looks brand new inside. I had a little problem with the english instructions but when I read the German instruction it was very clear. Put on highest temperature setting, let run for 30 min, then open door carefully and put powder in. close door and let run its course. THEN run it one more time empty full cycle. I have ordered another one for my Miele washer. I will do it from now on once a year. BTW— the container is for 1 application! One more thing: 4 years ago the flap to dish detergent compartment wouldn’t open anymore and it was supposed to cost 150 $( just the part) to replace it- so what we did for 4 years now- set a time for 20 minutes, open the door to the dishwasher and threw the puck in. I don’t have to do that anymore- so the part wasn’t broken , just only calcified.

This descaler did a great job in cleaning the dish washer. It actually looked brand new after the use of this product.

Hints: 1) For those who say they don’t know how to stop their dishwasher mid-cycle, read the manual. It’s not the descaler jar that would have basic dishwasher (or washington machine) instructions! 2) The instructions are on the jar — the label needs to be peeled back like is common on over the counter medicine bottles these days. Took off one star only because instructions aren’t detailed enough — nothing to do with U.S. or any other country. I did a search on youtube to find out more details, and in the first one I found the homeowner did not stop her dishwasher after 30 minutes to add the descaler.

I used this to descale my Bosch dishwasher. It worked like a charm! Before using this we were getting serious spots on our silverware and the inside of the dishwasher door (they looked dirty!). The only reason I am giving this 3-stars is because the instructions were not written for the American market. It says to use the descaler on a certain cycle by temperature! American dishwashers do not have temperatures listed anywhere on the appliance. I had to go to the user's manual and then convert the Fahrenheit temperature to Celsius, and then just choose the cycle that seemed closes in temperature (Normal). In addition, you are supposed to run the dishwasher for part of a cycle, then pour in the descaler and let the cycle complete. I had no idea how to do this and the dishwasher ended up draining all the water out when I reclosed the dishwasher. I was scared that I had just poured $20 of descaler down the drain most literally! After the cycle finish, I was then worried because there was a strong smell. After running another cycle, the dishwasher seemed fine. It's been a few months and my dishwasher is back to working like it did originally. Overall, the product worked as hoped but the poor instructions made it a bit stressful!

I live in Vegas and have an expensive 3 year old Maytag stainless steel dishwasher. The water is so hard in Vegas that the entire inside of the dishwasher was coated white, with chalky looking mineral deposits. I tried running it with cleaning vinegar but it did nothing. I was desperate, so searched the internet and found this on Amazon. I followed directions, and my dishwasher came out sparkling clean!! I keep looking at it!! Worked wonderfully!! It literally sparkles!! Very very happy with my purchase. It is very pricey, but well worth it!! Highly recommend!! A++++

Works like a charm on my Miele Front Loader Washing Machine. So happy with it I bought more so I can descale my washing machine next year. I just poured in the entire contents in the drum, then selected the maintenance program. After it completed it was all descaled.

So I had an issue with my dishwasher and bosch engineers came out to fix it. They asked me when the last time I cleaned the dishwasher (IE used a Descaler/cleaner) I genuinely completely forgot to do so in a year. I purchased this product as the engineer said it would be prudent to do so as soon as possible (buildup). This product is amazing...The difference was night and day...it cleaned my dishwasher so well it looked brand new inside. Highly recommended. Will be doing this every 4-6months.

I just moved into my new house a few months ago which has a Bosch dishwasher . The plastic and glass was coming out SO FOGGY and covered in cloudy white stuff. I tried dishwasher cleaner pods , taking out the parts and cleaning them , and we tried turning up our water softener . Nothing worked but then I used this entire container of descaler and now the machine works perfectly .. the dishes come out spotless. Thank god I found this !!! Was about to buy a new dishwasher. Highly recommend.
