Although they're a little smaller than I pictured, they do a great job of holding up books, and look nice doing it. The set of four seems a reasonable value, and the materials seem of good quality. There's foam non slip feet that aren't attached, which is nice because it gives the option of a little more low profile under the books, but if you have a slipperier surface you can put them on. I would absolutely buy these again. (I rated three stars for lightweight because for the size they are a nice weight, but it's not lightweight per se. Just about the right weight balance to be easy to use and not strain a shelf, but not light cheap material)

These look as described, work well, and add a nice touch to the shelf in our office, which now has been turned into part bookshelf.

Very good for a few smaller books. They are tiny. Not for comic storage, not for paperbacks, and not ideal for a lot of weight. Heavier books will slide on smooth surfaces even with the rubber feet. See pic to understand how absolutely miniature these things are.. Not knocking it.. they went for another set of books, other than intended.

There was a section to fill out "lightweight" for review. Sort of threw me because was not my intention to purchase lightweight bookends as I wanted a pair that would hold up my heavier books which these do in a space saving, modern looking way. Nice wood - matches my desk which is alder wood, did a nice job smoothing edges and they are identical in size and have a nice low profile metal "L" on bottom to easily slide books onto. Winner in my book : )

Use these for mu nightstand. Pretty solid and holds my books up.

Clean. Simple. Minimalist. Functional. What else could I ask for. I would definitely gift this to book readers.

The bookends work quite well to keep our place organized and looking tidy. I don't regret the purchase and even sat down and ordered another set of four. They are not very big or heavy. The beechwood color is a nice contrast to the dark wood colors that are in our house. They are doing me a lot of good compared to the small price one pays.

The wood is not walnut, it’s probably “moski” The quality of the finish is cheap The item is too light it cannot stop even a very thin book. I wouldn’t take it even as a gift! Very poor!
