The idea and function is brilliant but unfortunately the life span has been very disappointing have returned numerous now for replacement have persisted due to the when operating it being so helpful in weight, movement around garden and ease of eventual back to simple storage also a favourite of my wife with her speciality car maintenance not used this one to date still using one of my previous purchase normally run with one front and one back garden another easy feature advantage bought this one again with a new supplier through Amazon who make replacements so much easier in the past and hoping this supply will be a redesign for the old problem of inner tube bursting Have made contacts with Hozelock hoping they could review but no response to date

When in use, this huge sized hose is easily long enough to reach from my back door to the top of my (3 car length) driveway. Plenty long enough to wash the cars and water the garden. Once done, turning the water off shrivels the hose down so small that it fits in a bucket, with no need for a reel. Yes, it's a bit expensive, but seems very good quality.

I purchased this following reading a best buy review from Gardeners World magazine . The hose itself seems to be well made and solid. My problem is using attachments. The hose is provided with a simple nozzle which allows to to set full force to a fine spray. However it is not possible to change the flow rate. Even on the gentlest spray this damages fragile plants - even with the tap at lowest flow rates. I have accumulated several guns and nozzles over the years which all worked with my previous hose. I have tried all of these and none stay attached to the hose for more than a few seconds before being ejected . I have had to purchase a hoselock gun which does have a flow rate setting to finally solve my problems

First the item - failed in normal use, three months after delivery. Burst and deflated. Amazon CS, after a 7 minute wait to speak to someone after AI nonsense, refused to refund. QUoted a one month return period. I asked for supervisor - same guy came back and said two month period and I was outside it. Had checked 'product support' link to Hozelock before phoning in. They said Amazon have to refund within twelve months. Checked UK consumer law - it says the retailer has to refund. Furious - so contacted CS in online chat and stated I wanted to complain. Instantly received reassurance that they will refund and would send a QR to send the item back free of charge for the refund. They also stated the following in the chat: 'Items ordered with us are actually covered by a 2 year purchase warranty' and said they didn't understand why the first people had said otherwise. I told them to look at the reviews here where everyone is being told that - they said they would raise my complaint about it all and agreed it was wrong, and apologised. So the upshot is it's being returned for a refund. Absolutely piece of rubbish, failing in normal use after less than three months. I'll go back to a normal hose pipe. Less convenient, but not as fragile as this rubbish.

Extremely good. But put away in Winter to avoid rubber inner cracking.

Replacing as the first one was getting to old and started to leak. Would highly recommend

Unfortunately this hose breaks really quick. I really like the design but Hiselick product is not durable. I can say that becausevits my it's my third hose. 1st one nroke after 5 months, 2nd after a year and the third after just 1.5months. Rubbish. There's warranty but the hassle if dealing with their customer service open until ..2pm! I didnt ay premium price to get a substandard product. Won't buy another one. Will buy a cheap one.
