Makes a good snack

Chopped too tiny for my taste. Not as much flavor as other brands. To be sure, tastes like spinach and fiber though.

Great price per can plus its great for your health and on pizza

My husband and I bonded over our love of green vegetables like artichokes, Brussel sprouts, and asparagus. We agree spinach is a must-have in the diet, but we can't raise our own, and other formats are expensive. Canned spinach is the same nutritionally as having your French chef steam it and rinse it until all the sand is out -- possibly a bit better. We're also agreed that a pantry needs some sort of canned veg for emergencies like hurricanes, and spinach eats just fine at room temperature in a pinch. We really don't like the others (corn, peas, green beans) so we buy this by the carton, eat it regularly with various sauces, and have a backlog just in case.

I'm on a fodmap-restricted diet and carry a can of this everywhere, eat it straight out of the can when I get hungry. Got the idea from the old Popeye cartoon. It's not super palatable but a good way to enforce daily veggie intake if you have limited access to healthy options.
