Klein Tools D203-7 Needle Nose Pliers, Long Nose Side Cutters, Heavy Duty Alligator Pliers, 7-Inch

The Klein Tools D203-6 Pliers are incredibly sharp and precise, thanks to their induction-hardened knives. The curved handles provide excellent comfort and control for reaching into tight spots. While they are a top-tier professional tool, the high cost makes it very frustrating when I lost it.

Love these needle nose, I’ve bought several pairs because everyone else loves them too…. These are the best fishing pliers you can find on top of all their other uses.

Over the past 30 years, I’ve used a lot of long-nose pliers - ranging from cheap made-in-China stuff to Craftsman to Channel Locks, and now these Kleins. The Kleins are my favorites by far. The pivot is nice and tight, there is no axial play in the jaws, blades are sharp, and the craftsmanship of my example is top notch, which has been the case with all of my Klein hand tools so far. The 7 inch size has a nose that’s narrow enough to fit in tight places while still giving you the handle size you need for leverage and torque. I really like the yellow grips as well, as these are my most frequently-used pliers and the color helps me find them quickly in my bag or pouch. These just fit my hand the best - I encourage anyone shopping for any type of pliers to go to your local tool stores and figure out what grip and size you prefer. I’ve always loved and used the plain dipped handles over the “overmold” grips that seem to be popular these days. I’ve also never cared for the spring-loaded versions, since sometimes I need the tool to remain closed while I reposition my grip or grab another tool. I also very much appreciate the fact that these are made in the USA with American-made steel, and will go out of my way to support quality American manufacturing whenever possible. I’m extremely pleased with these pliers, and while they are not cheap, in my opinion they are worth every penny I paid for them, and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend these or buy them again.

Great product—professional build—high price (8 inch model)

I use these pliers everyday at work. I am a HVAC technician. I am always checking electrical connections and removing spade connectors or wires to test capacitors, contactors, thermostats, motors, breakers, circuit boards, and any other wire connection. The cutters come in handy in a pinch to cut and strip wire when I don't have my wire strippers. Sometimes after working in the rain they get right. Just spray them up with some wd40 and they loosen up. I wish I could say they last forever, but I misplace them every now and then and have to buy new ones. Working in dark attics or basements this can happen. They will get welded marks if they hit live power. I even once had a piece of the wire cutter melted off when I accidentally cut a 120ac wire. They have protected me and I never once got electrocuted when any of this happened so this tool saved my life. The warning it will not protect against electrical shock is to protect the company. I choose this one over the journeyman version due to it fitting better in my back pocket with my nut driver. I never really try to tighten bolts with these since that is not what it is made for. I would recommend these to anyone that does technical work they are strong and reliable.

Machining could be better. Of course, Klein has always built top-notch stuff. Well-made, durable, and I don’t mind paying the price for something that will last. My only complaint with these is the rough edges around the tip of the jaws. It’s like they didn’t finish cleaning up the castings when they machined them. They snag on the material in my pocket, and it is sharp enough to scratch your hand if you are not wearing gloves. A little work with a file took care of it, but I don’t expect to do that for this price.

Yes you can get needle nose pliers for $7, but you ain’t never held a puppy like this before I promise you. Smooth pivot, extremely easy to control, tight machining with no wiggle. You’ll probably lose it or have it stolen before it breaks

After fiddling around with cheaper items that don't do the job well I moved to this tool. It's great.

I liked the shape and contour of the handles better on the previous but now discontinued model of small Klein needle nose, but this is the next best thing still available. Typical kleins. Convenient easy amazon purchase.

My Klein 7”” long nose pliers look and feel quality, the yellow handles are comfortable in hand and easy to spot in my tool bag,should last to retirement and beyond.
