The media could not be loaded. These worms arrived healthy and active after three days in transit with the USPS. I waited until spring to place my order because I wanted the weather to be mild during shipping. I’ve had a little experience with vermicomposting and the temperament of red wigglers. I can’t really comment on the value of 1 pound of red wigglers because the other sellers sell them by the count. Trying to count them is like trying to count gumballs in a glass fishbowl. It’s not going to be very accurate just a guess. I am pleased with my order and plan to document my vermicomposting on my YouTube channel msateaches.

I raise red wrigglers for my axolotls, and I thought the minerals might make them more nutritious. I very quickly had bigger worms! Almost too big for my axolotls to get down. It is good value since now I need half as many worms to feed them.

This is a perfect supplement food for my worm bed. Just mix a little in the soil.

Looks like this product will bridge any gaps in may have in feeding my home composting worm bins. Highly recommended product and seller.

I was a bit concerned getting the wigglers in the mail, especially since it's summer. However, they did really well even though the post office beat the hell out of the box they were in. They were packed so well that it didn't damage the worms. Enclosed in the package was a great sheet of information that I found really helpful. When the worms arrived and I unpacked them, they looked listless of course, but they responded quickly and well to putting them in their new environment and were wiggling in no time. There were certainly some dead ones upon arrival, but that is to be expected. There were lots more alive and they are doing great. I will purchase more from this company in the future.

The media could not be loaded. Recieved my bag of worms last night. They were all healthy & very hungry. The most affordable worms on the net and free shipping! I scattered them around my garden & compost last night & they all burrowed in by this morning! I highly suggest these worms!

I thought I was getting one lb of worm as indicated in the item picture but in reality it is mostly one lb of compost with a bag stating there are 1000 worms in there. However, when I dig my hand into the compost, there are less than 10 worms per hand, so even the 1000 is pretty an overestimation. I guess I was not paying attention to other customer review videos and realize how small the bag was and how much compost was in there.

The wrigglers were more like composting worms and I don’t like composting worms I ended up picking the wigglers out and dumping the rest!!
