4/5 stars. Initial review
I have a Suzuki Kingquad 750 and I have been doing some upgrades over the past few weeks on it. I wanted to add something to the atv that would allow me to play music. Im typically extremely picky when it comes to my audio sound, however I really didn’t want to spend $800+ on audio equipment for the atv. It was between the MTX sound bars or boss. I’ve never really been a fan of boss and I’ve always tried to stay away from them but I decided for the price, I couldn’t beat it. The sound bar came fairly quickly, I got it within 2 days so I was pretty happy about that. I hooked it up straight out of the box to my 12V outlet to test the sound and make sure everything worked. It came right on and the Bluetooth was very easy to hookup. Right off the bat it sounded decent. I unhooked it and mounted it to the front rack and pulled the atv out and started it up, to my surprise at full volume this speaker sounds amazing. It hits lows and highs, it sounds very good so far. I have not tried it on the trails yet I will within the next two weeks. There are a few things I don’t like, for starters it does not get as loud as I had hoped. But it still gets pretty loud, not sure how the sound will be at 50 mph but we will see. Secondly I do not like the 3 different wires that are connected on the left side of the bar, you have your USB out, your aux cord, and a power cord. On an atv it is really hard to fuse those extra wires without it looking janky. I was able to zip tie them under the front rack out of the way. However it would be nice if maybe we could disconnect those two wires and then there could be a rubber insert to plug the inputs on the sound bar. Just an idea.Other than that tho, the sound bar looks great. Very happy! Yes I would recommend this to anyone who wants a sound bar without spending tons of money on a powerbass or wetsounds.

Missing screws after first outing
So, like so many others we hate bad reviews, but this is why we read the reviews for real world experience and HOPEFULLY keeping companies and sellers remotely honest🤔Bought the sound bar for the rmax and on the first impressions I was thinking something was up as the "shipping box" was a bit banged up and the "contents box" may or may have not been resealed, didn't look great. So, after unboxing all parts looked to be there and the foam was intact, but after taking the plastic bag off the unit I saw damage on the grill that looked like it had been covered up, said to self well let's call it cosmetics and test it. While removing it from the box I heard rattling, a screw with no threads was rolling around in the undamaged grate side but all screws were in place for the speakers on that side.Thinking this is a Monday or Friday made unit, tested it out and it is loud, there is no treble or bass control you get what you get, and it's not short on volume.Pre Trail day.. after mounting it up which can prove difficult if you have roof, or limited mounting points that will allow you to get to the screws to tighten, do find yourself extra padding or filler material if the clamps are not tight and it's lose few good raps of electrical tape to bulk up you roll cage mounting spot.Trail day.....day one, not bad, mounting screws loosened a little and volume was acceptable, tightened and carried on.Day two....early morning ride went to turn down volume and noticed a whole spreaker flapping around behind the mesh, not good, I have a windshield and rear cab enclosure so water is not a issue,. But for the unit to fall apart and have the screws go MIA, very disappointed. Now there's no way the screws can get through the mesh as the heads are to big and the screws are just gone, upon closer Inspection, one speakers tab is completely broken! So I REALLY started looking and noticed on the side with the mesh damage, there was a shard of metal sticking out from the metal frame of the inner speaker. All In all I should have just sprung for the factory stereo that's designed to go in the SxS. I don't recommend this unit, maybe mine was bad or "the new guy" inspected it. But quality control was severely lacking here. It's going back to Amazon unfortunately

Too quiet. Underpowered. 25 watts max.
It's much larger that I expected. However, the larger size doesn't mean it's powerful. I'd say the entire unit is about 25 watts RMS. My Polaris ranger is a 2019 1000cc Crew. I have the sound bar mounted on the center roll bar, above and slightly behind the front seats, and facing the front of the cart. I have front and back windshields. My cart has stock engine and exhaust. At high speeds, the speakers are barely audible at full volume. It is loud enough if the cart is stationary, but if you are accelerating hard, or running over 30mph or so, the speakers simply aren't loud enough to overcome the sounds of the cart.Very disappointing and misleading. The description says 500 watts.... There is no way it is making 500 watts. 25 wattsmax. And yes, I had the volume on my phone turned all the way up. I also tried it with my wife's phone, and it's the same. It's simply underpowered. The Bluetooth connects well enough, and the mounting brackets fit perfectly to the round roll bar. So 3 stars for that.
