Tierra Garden 50-3000 Haxnicks Original Soft Tie for Plants & Trees, 16.4', Green

This stuff is fantastic. I don't use it for plants or gardening, but have been going crazy with it around the house since it arrived. It is the perfect twist tie, holds it's shape, grips itself and whatever it's wrapped around, and can be cut to length! I have small pieces for my earbuds, medium ones for usb cables and power adapters, longer ones for extension cords. I even have two strips discretely holding up surround speakers to my bedposts! This is a necessary organizational tool for anyone with wires in their house. And helpful not just for storage, but for keeping wires that are in use from sprawling in different directions and tangling. Everything coming out the back of my iMac is now in a single line, and doesn't part ways until behind my desk. And one of the best things about this stuff is that it's non-committal, as opposed to something like single use zip-ties. If I was unhappy with, say, my speaker placement, it would be very easy to move it up to another position. I can cut a long piece, and if I don't need it so long I can trim off a piece to use for something else. It's useful in almost any length. For things needing strong tension like the speakers I twist it, for almost everything else I just wrap it around 1-3 times. It holds very well, and is nicely suited to wires or things you might want to access regularly. This product is thoroughly reuseable, so I can keep my earbuds from tangling while i'm not using them, and quickly unwrap them when needed. Frankly I think wire management and home organization might actually allow for fuller use of this product's merits than simply gardening could. But then I'm not a gardener. And while I haven't used Gear Ties (they were what I was originally looking for), Soft Tie seems to accomplish everything I would need from them at about 1/30th of the price per foot. So until these are unable to do something that Gear Ties can, I think I'll be buying this. Btw, I bought both the green and the brown; green seems a touch tackier, though it's not a tackiness that come off on fingers or wires thus far. Just feels a little grippier. Brown seems equally capable of performing like tasks, and obviously blends in a bit better if you have wood furniture that it will be in close proximity to.

My initial review of this product was before I had time to use it for a while. It was a five start review then and still is, but I did not praise it enough the first time. I don't say this very often, but I love this stuff. It is by far the best thing I have ever used to help tie down branches - and I have tried it all. I have a scrog net installed and I use this to help bend and tie branches down to keep my canopy at a uniform height. This stuff is so easy to cut and use and it's nice and soft so my ladies just love it too. I use it in short lengths and long lengths. You can use it with just a small hook on each end to gently bend a light branch or you can twist it to hold more firmly on larger stronger branches. It's also very easy to remove and make adjustments when needed. There is nothing else I will ever use for tying branches. I will find out soon just how reusable it is, but I see no reason why it would not be. I will definitely be buying more of this product. The price is very reasonable for how much you get. Love it...love it...love it. Update September 2020 I found a very similar product at my local hydro shop for a lot less money so I will not be making another purchase. I still love it, but it is way over priced for what you get. Seems like the price has gone up a bit since my original purchase too.

Great product. Supports my little trees outside and several houseplants inside. Support that is subtle and gentle. LOVE this product. I always keep at least two rolls on hand.

I bought the green ones last year and they work very well. They are soft and strong to hold up veggies. I didn't give them 5 stars because the soft wrapping stretches out and needs to be pulled off. And if you care about price, when I ordered these, the brown color was much cheaper than the green.

One of the best tools a gardener can have in their arsenal! I love this stuff and use it on everything from blackberries to tomatoes.

The wire is flexible. It is easy cut with kitchen scissors. It is very strong and the color is nice.

I love this product! I garden for private clients 5 days/week, and it is the fastest, most effective product I've come across. It is also the perfect color, much more subtle that the other, thicker green soft wire tie products I've purchased. I use it for any landscape plant I need to stake and tie, as well as in the veggie garden, with tomatoes, cucumbers, squash, etc. I noticed the reviews that say the outer does not stick to the inner....hmmm. The thicker products do stay together better, but with a good pair of scissors, I have no problem with the way this slim soft tie works. My only wish is that they sold it in a larger roll, more product and in a rounded fashion, as this product wrapped around a flat inner leaves regular bends in the wire. That's how picky I am, I want it to be as discreet and natural looking as possible in the landscape. The thicker product is sold in a large roll, which is great and much more economical, but that other green color jumps out, just doesn't blend in. I use a LOT of this product, as I garden 5 days/week. It would be great to buy in more of a bulk setup. BTW, the thicker products are a bit better for heavy duty tying.
