This is truly amazing. I got.it for my 3 yr old Grandson. He enjoy the whole.process I was praying it would grow and not disappoint him . It grew and is growing. Seeing the words and the symbols on the bean was so fascinating to him and meWonderful gift for a child. I followed directions and only planted 2 beans. I may have to.transfer to.a bigger pot.

My daughter in law loved this for my 2 grandsons aged 2 and 3, it's aged at 5 but we followed it for 3 weeks now and they are still interested. Just got a video message today on the progress, was told this will be stole as a gift idea for kids on her side of the family

I think I’m more excited about this than my 3 year old!! This planting kit was the most amazing thing we’ve done so far. If you’re on the fence about it, I can assure you this will exceed your expectations. It comes with everything you need to paint the planter and grow these magical little stalks! I haven’t put the colored pebbles in yet but I think it looks great without it. My daughter had a blast doing this and she was excited every day to check on her little friends. She loves peppa pig so I made some little paper drawings on toothpicks to excite her even more. She named one stalk Peppa, one Alexander and one George. I don’t have a ton of light in my window so it took a little over one week to see the first signs of growth but I have a feeling if there were more direct sunlight they would have sprouted faster.Overall, really worth every penny and giftable! It’s the kind of gift I think moms and kids would actually learn something from.

I just think it’s a little expensive.. so far only one bean had germinated and it’s been more than 10 days, at this point I don’t think the others will grow.. but it’s cute , instructional and fun for the kids!

Disappointed! Followed instructions and the beans did NOT grow! Contacted company and no response.

This was so fun to do and they grew and are growing more everyday!

My daughter absolutely loved growing this plant, and how much she got to make it her own. I’m amazed at how they’re able to have the words actually on the plant. So cool! These plants grow quickly and are super easy… I am terrible at growing things, and even accidentally pulled the seedling out of the dirt at one point, but I just stuck it back in and it kept growing, ha! We’ve bought this twice more to gift to friends, and they’ve loved it and bought them as gifts also. Definitely recommend!

This is a fun little gift that I bought for my niece. However I was really disappointed upon opening it that the planter is plastic. You can't paint plastic well with water based paint! The paint resists the plastic and looks terrible. My niece still had fun painting it, although she did cry at the way it turned out because the paint looked terrible and not like the image on the box. The bean sprouted and that's fun. It's a good idea for a gift, but could also be a bit cheaper? I mean it's PLASTIC.
