Washable and reusable. Threading on the cap prevents leakage while special flutter valve prevents air intake. Tip of nipple can be cut off to increase milk flow. Lambs and kids quickly learn to nurse when using pritchard nipples. people who used said:"This is just what we needed for our baby goats" "When you screwed them down, they would pop off. I would say that about half of the 20 or so bottles we have did work with these nipples. The more expensive, original Pritchard teats fit all of the bottles. The Dealglad teats worked fine during this lambing season-even when the lambs got big and much more aggressive. It will be interesting to see how they are next year when we get them back out. The original ones always turn a bit tacky and i rarely get more than two years of usage from them."
