It’s a wonderful portable fire pit. We bought it to see how we liked having a fire pit in our new backyard. It’s so easy and delivers on fun:) I recommend a welder’s mat so you don’t burn your grass. Realize that you will have to store it after each use: it’s not nearly sturdy enough to leave out.

This product is so easy to put together and take apart when camping or just a little campfire right in your yard. Love the accessories that you can buy for it for a little cookout. It is getting used frequently.

We used this when having a fire in the front yard to burn some branches from a bush I had cut down earlier in the day. The grass below the fire pit was fine and showed no signs of any heat from the fire.

This is a terrific fire pit - lightweight yet sturdy design, good surface area. packable and burns wood efficiently. Consider buying the attachable heat shield (it’s not included) but the shield protects the patio or lawn from burn marks. Happy with my purchase!

Very easy to assemble, it really does cool pretty quickly when you’re done with the fire. Do recommend the heat shield when using fire pit on grass, it will definitely burn the grass underneath it. Overall super happy with this fire pit!

It’s been a year and I have moved on. Pros: Lightweight Compact Sturdy Done with your fire? Spread it out, dump it out put it away. Everything cools off so fast. Bare hands disassembly and back in the bag 5 mins after putting out the fire. My favorite part of this pit. Cons: Stainless steel mesh isn’t high quality. Cracked, rusted through. Replaced it once. The replacement lasted one fire. Heat shield flaked out and was replaced once. Less than a dozen fires. Conclusion: If the most important parts were better quality I’d be giving a different review! I’ll chalk it up to experience but you don’t need too. Stay away.

No longer constrained to having the fire where the pit is located at the site, the fire burns cleaner, closer to eye level, and easy to put together and take apart. Wish I'd found this sooner.
