First experience waxing
So I discovered sugaring on Tiktok and finally took the leap. Since I am new to waxing of any sort and was fascinated with sugaring I decided to try pre-made sugaring first before trying to make it myself. This kit cam with a small tub of sugar wax, some wooden sticks, a bar of soap, and some washable cotton strips. This was a great beginners kit. The instructions were very helpful and clear. I took a shower and washed my legs with the soap provided and didn't put on any lotion or moisturizer after getting out. I waited a hour or so after showering before I started my waxing session. I chose my legs because shaving them is the most annoying. I started from the top of my leg and worked my way down then around. I did one leg one day and the other leg the next. Waxing your first time can be a bit much so I spaced out the sessions. After waxing I gently washed the freshly waxed leg with a warm wash cloth and put on some post-shave "dew" and let my skin rest. Not every hair came out perfectly so once my skin settled I went in with a tweezers and plucked the remaining hairs. (That hurt more than the waxing. Those hairs were not ready to come out.) I am 2 weeks out from my wax job and some hairs are starting to come back in, while most of my legs are still smooth. Hands down waxing your legs at least for summer is the best. I have been able to wear capris and shorts without worry about how long my leg hair is. P.S. I recommend an exfoliating scrub between waxings to prevent ingrown hairs and promote smoothness.

do. not. get. this. so. painful. skin. broke. out.
i got this bc it was cheap and i was in a pinch. i regret it so bad! i typically use another brand that’s a bit more expensive and now i see why. this wax is such a horrible quality compared to my favorite. the wax took longer than normal and it was so bad. my skin was so irritated (not normal for me) and i broke out in those spots. I WAXED MY VAGINA AND I BROKE OUT. EVERYWHERE. not a place where i want that. I also did not learn my lesson and then did my pits. WORSE! i have a pimple that looks like a nipple and it hurts SO BAD. i’m never going cheap bc clearly i pay for it in pain. so sad bc i did like the set! the wooden sticks are so handy and the cotton wax strips! but the wax is the issue in my opinion. this brands wax strips are better though i have used those no issue.

Results last much longer than shaving and it's much less painful than epilation
First time attempting sugaring, on a few previous occasions I had tried to make sugaring paste from scratch and was never able to get the consistency just right, this premade paste comes ready to use and once you get the hang of it seems to last a long time. I made the mistake the first time of just applying the full area of the woven waxing strip on a sensitive area and immediately regretted that decision because it was too much to pull off in one go and required multiple attempts to get off cleanly (user error, would have benefied from smaller passes especially for that area.) After a few attempts the strips get covered with hair and become difficult to use. What I found easier was just using tight fitting nitrile gloves and having the paste spread between my pointer finger and thumb, this allows you to just pinch the hair in small portions and pull it out, once the wax is no longer tacky you can roll it off with the hair and reapply. Guys attempting a full Brazilian, word of advice: Go in smaller more manageable passes, apply sugar against hair growth, pull the skin taught, and then pull in the direction of hair growth. Otherwise you might end up with bruising, which does heal quickly but because of this you may want to attempt this a few days prior to the day you want to be smooth. Results last -much- longer than shaving but area may be tender immediately after, similar to a mild sunburn, all the more reason to give the downstairs area time to recover before putting it through its paces (or not, the masochist in me won't judge). Once you get the hang of it the process is easy and other than the smoothess the main benefit is it all washes off easily in the shower.

Amazing product.
I just waxed my eyebrows (as shown above) and it worked flawlessly. It grabbed a bunch of hairs and whatever stragglers were left behind I just plucked with tweezers. One thing I really like about this wax is that I don't need to worry about it hardening and picking it off painfully (courtesy of traditional wax); I can just wash it off with warm water! I took a bath earlier today, and I followed the instructions and tested it out on a couple small places on my leg before I bathed. It pulled some out, but the hairs weren't yet long enough for the wax to properly grip (I shaved about a week ago). I wasn't too impressed then, but I did see that the manual said that the hairs have to be at least 1/8 to 1/4 inch long, so I just kept it in mind. This was before I waxed my eyebrows. One little trick I learned quickly and used when I did my eyebrows was holding my palm over the cloth strip for about 30 seconds to a minute to let the wax soften and grip the hairs better (you'll know when it softens when you can see the wax seeping through the fabric), before ripping the strip off and getting impressive results. It can be a little bit messy at times, but once you get the hang of it (which doesn't take long at all), it's the perfect wax. I do my eyebrows more often, as I've had them waxed by professionals in nail salons multiple times before, but this is so much better and cheaper. If you mess up and put the sugar wax somewhere you don't want it, just wash it off with warm water! I definitely like it better than traditional hot wax, as I never liked the feeling of intense heat on my face - doesn't matter where. Rinsing the wax off with warm water isn't nearly as uncomfortable as the hot wax, though, so I love this sugar wax. Compared to other prices I've seen for jars of similar sizes, this is quite literally a steal. I would definitely, definitely, definitely buy this again and would recommend it to anyone looking for something similar. :))

Comes with reusable cloth strips, lots of applicators, and a soap to prepare your skin as well as the sugaring compound. Best to use the product without heating it up - just be patient and let your skin heat it up to make it easier to spread. Also don't double dip with the application sticks or it contaminates the sugar and the product deteriorates.

Over priced, still we bought it thinking that it will work When we used it, 90% of time its not sticking... even if its get stick, hair is not getting removed.. Totally a waste of money... So, please dont try your luck on this product.

Super product! I love the idea of waxing but I could never wax successfully and stress free (I first started with Veet strips, that left bruises on my skin and was a nightmare to clean up afterwards. I then found and tried sugar wax recipes online: they worked really well, but they take so much time for an uncertain result). I was looking for something that was healthy, easy to use and cheap, and found it all in this kit! The added touches of sustainability with the cotton strips and just the natural recipe made this even more perfect. As I explained, I’m really not a pro in waxing and had maybe done it like 4 times in my life before trying this, and I managed to use it with no problem. Works perfectly on the legs (as seen in my beautiful picture). A bit less perfect on the armpits, and I bled a little but that’s because my hair had become so thick from all the shaving so I’m not too worried about that, pretty sure the next few times will be fine. I am yet to try on my bikini area but I’m looking forward to it (whereas I dreaded this part with other waxes). One pot of wax can probably last for only one waxing of each of these accumulated body parts (so both legs, armpits as well as bikini in total once). The only negative point that I have found is that since the strips and applicators are reusable, I don’t really need to buy the full kit again, but I can’t seem to see an option of just buying the sugar wax for my next “session”. It would be a shame if I always had to buy the full kit, as the whole point of it is that its components are reusable. The other small issue was just that my room temperature was never enough so I had to go heat up the wax a few times during use, but I assume that it’s because of the general UK weather (I believe this is an Australian product so it’s normal that their room temperature is hotter).

I used it on my lip, chin, and brow. If you've ever had waxing done in the salon, you are familiar with the process, just repeat it with this product. The instructions are very clear. The wax is very sticky, much like honey but once you get comfortable with it, it's fairly easy to apply and removes most of the unwanted hair. The brow is a bit tricky and will take some practice and the overall result is not as thorough as the hot wax from the salon, but certainly worth the investment for in-between cleaning. My skin reaction was not as severe as after the salon either.

I don’t usually leave reviews, but this time I just had to. I’ve always struggled with hair removal, particularly on my upper lip as I have extremely sensitive skin. I’ve tried wax strips, threading, shaving, and eventually I just started plucking each hair individually - yet still each method came with its own consequences and a few very embarrassing rashes. HOWEVER, I think I’ve just found my new holy grail - super easy process, managed to remove all in one go hairs after I tried it out a few times and formed my hand, very minimal pain - and the best part? Absolutely no irritation whatsoever!! My skin was only slightly red for 15 mins max, and after that it looked perfectly fine - no rash, no bumps, nothing out of the ordinary. If I can offer you one word of advice, it would be to apply some baby talc on the area you wish to wax as it absorbes all moisture and makes everything a lot easier. If you have sensitive skin and are wondering whether to try sugaring out or not - please do give it a try, and hopefully your experience will be as delightful as mine.
