bbfly VINT-TT55502 Forscan ELMconfig USB modified For all Windows

Bought as I had read that the big blue oval mirror company had put features in cars but not enabled them if they weren't paid for but we're available on the car supplied to the customer. Wasn't particularly hard to set up on my laptop after downloading the Forscan software (you'll need to pay or get a trial) but it's definitely not for a novice. My interface wasn't recognised by the software until I manually set to recognize the com port the interface was using and it was 38k baud. When set up the interface performed well, changing the switch when the software required it. I've now added fuel economy, tyre pressure readings and added 30bhp to my engine! All good!

Good price, easy to get running and works perfectly with Forscan unlike the original cable I bought which I suspect to be a counterfeit. Don't try and save a couple of quid with a cheaper cable, get this one as it does what it claims to.

Great quality and works excellently on my Ford with Forscan. Cable is a good length to allow the laptop sitnon the passenger seat while connected the the OBD port down in the drivers footwell and is made from a good quality lead. Microswitch to go between HS and MS is nicely situated and is nice and solid.

Works well but the switch could be in a better place, when the switch is to the left it's touching the wire which makes it tricky to toggle when it's plugged in, other than that it's great.

Works fine for Forscan and is a fraction of the cost of the dedicated cable.

The drivers downloads in pdf you have to turn off your antiviris and firewall on your laptop or PC once you have done that go back to the drivers that are in pdf and rename it as ZIP once that is done you will be able to download the drivers properly hope this helps people, Once it's working its a very good product.

Plugged it in to a Ford focus for the first time ... completely ruined the battery. Ended up needing to jump the car and in the long run get a new battery

Does the job. Had a bit of messing around to get it setup but once setup works fine. Would recommend, good value for money.

Only HS is working! I took much pain and effort to isolate, with different settings and even ACM modules, that my inability to access MS-CAN is due to this OBD2 adaptor. Have to get a replacement adaptor and chuck this aside.

Used link to calibrate my speedometer. I bought new tires/wheels which were 33" in diameter and the speedometer was reading 60 MPH when actually traveling 66 MPH according to my GPS. I used my ancient PC with windows 7 and downloaded the Forscan app as well as the drivers for the adapter. I'm normally a IOS user but Forscan only works with windows. Watched a couple of Youtube videos and follow some of the recommendations in other reviews. After downloading and communicating with the vehicle, I was able to change my tire circumference in mm and program ithrough the OBD in about 5 minutes. I'm pleased with this interface.
