Works fine in our grow room
To monitor the temperature and humidity in the grow room, I searched through Amazon and finally decided to try with this product. The device is worth its price because it is reliable for providing accurate readings. The app provided for the device is very easy to operate. It is really useful that alerts can be sent via emails, app and IFTTT notifications for free. I combined the three modes for each rule just in case I missed an alert. Didn't try with SMS and voice call alerts as they are paid services. BTW, The support said it's better to use external probes for humidity 90% and above.

Don’t buy this one.
Not fit for purpose. The WiFi connection is unstable and it takes ages to set up. Bought it , pulled it out after a few weeks. The Ethernet model works fine.

Good device, but website platform is so cryptic
The device itself is great, it seems accurate and the graphing is useful. The iOS app is pretty decent, at least for showing graphs and configuration. I prefer not to rely on mobile apps, especially iOS, because all too often they are not maintained and eventually you are left with a device you can barely use. The Ubibot web portal is another matter. Everything is so cryptic, and whilst I can view the same graphs as the mobile app, most the functionality they promised is impenetrable and looks amateurish (Times New Roman font, and everything is in broken English and labelled badly). I still don't understand how to set up IFFT alerts, and the promise I could set up a local API without having to use their cloud platform, seems to require a monthly subscription to their developer program. Just to be clear, this is a monthly paid subscription for a temp/humidity meter, for goodness sake please get real.

Compact Remote Data Logger
Nice compact unit with clear display. The app isn’t the most intuitive to begin with but once you work it out it’s straight forward. Very handy to be able to remotely monitor a space.

Product sold is NOT the product delivered - UPDATED
I misunderstood the difference between WS1 and WS1Pro believing that the later is both WiFi and GSM capable. I have now been informed that WS1 Pro comes in either just WiFi or Wifi?GSM models. The device was fantastic for 11 days but suddenly stopped working, switching off and on automatically, Screen freezing requiring removal of the batteries to get it started again. The WiFi setup couldn't be configured without cable connection to a laptop. Also only 1 USB port appears to be working. I've also purchased an external temperature sensor but now need the device replaced. I'll leave the review at 2 stars and update based on how Ubibot handles the current issue.

High tech environmental monitoring system for low price
Incredible value for money. Exceeded my expectations for a simple environmental monitoring system. Its located in my holiday caravan 120 miles away from my home and it allows me to check on conditions over the winter when the site is closed. It runs off a phone charger but will revert to battery power if the mains supply fails and I get an alert on my phone. If the caravan Wi-Fi goes down for a period of time the data is stored internally and automatically synchronises to the app on recovery. You can set low temperature alarms and high humidity alarms and you receive notifications to your phone and an optional email. The phone app and the PC app allows graph plots on the screen for all variables and export of all the data in csv format for excel spreadsheet. It even generates reports in PDF format, all for £ 99.99. Highly recommended.

Fails after a year
All the ubibot devices have eventually failed after 1 to 2 years. Too expensive to replace all of them.

Terrible Device
An overly complicated device which doesn't want to connect it has a mind of its own. Buy something more simple and logical. I would not even give one star and zero if I could. AVOID BUYING.

I installed the device in the basement of an unoccupied house, along with an industrial dehumidifier and a 15amp smart plug with power monitoring. I configured the smart plug to run the dehumidifier during hours when electricity is cheap (it uses lots, about $125/month) and the humidity monitor allows me to turn it on and increase the working hours if necessary. I check with my cell phone daily and can see the humidity start dropping at 7pm and temperature start rising (dehumidifiers create a lot of heat); then by morning when the dehumidifier shuts down, the temperature drops and humidity rises. It's predictable, precise, perfect. I haven't figured out how to download graphs from the web interface yet but haven't tried very hard because I don't need them. I use a smart WiFi net and was concerned I'd have trouble getting it on the right band; nope. It just saw the signal (an Asus mesh) and worked.
