Ignore all the low reviews, those people don't know what this is for
This will allow you to attach a SAS drive to a SAS controller. If your SAS controller has individual ports on it (instead of the backplane 4-port style), this will allow you to use a single-port SAS/SATA cable and regular SATA power input on a SAS drive. It will NOT allow you to connect a SAS drive to a SATA controller.

Misleading photos
Misleading. This is only ONE adapter despite showing 2 in the picture. I paid several dollars more because I thought it was a 2 pack.

I have had no success with this product, but ...
I have had no success with this product, but it was very cheap and I did not expect it to work. Similar modules cost $50 so I figured I gave this a shot.
