This has to be one of the best Christmas presents I could’ve gotten for my six-year-old daughter. She has always wanted to help out in the kitchen, but for safety reasons it was always limited but not anymore. Now that she has this Montessori cooking kit, she is going to be able to help in the kitchen whenever she likes. The knives are kid friendly because they don’t cut skin, however when cutting food items, it cuts very well. I do wish they had different color options. However, for the cost, it was well worth it! The cutting boards are very thin, and the knives aren’t very bulky so it’s easy to store everything in a drawer. I would recommend this for anyone who has children that enjoy helping out in the kitchen.

Upon opening and examining the items, everything looked easy to use and designed specifically for kids.Some tools are made of metal with sharp edges, but the design ensures they are much safer than regular kitchen utensils. I especially love the fun shape cutter, various knives, chopping tools, and the cutting board. Each piece was individually wrapped in plastic, allowing me to inspect everything without direct contact.After looking everything over, I was already convinced I’d keep the set—good thing, too, since it’s marked as non-returnable due to its nature. However, if anything is missing, the seller seems willing to replace parts. Fortunately, my set arrived complete.My toddler couldn’t wait to try it out, so we used the shape cutters to make little baby sandwiches—such a fun experience! At $14.24, the price is reasonable for what you get, though I would have preferred more natural materials like wood instead of plastic.Overall, I would definitely recommend this product, and so I gave it 4 stars!

This gift was great! for my 5 year old GD who loves helping me in kitchen. I was unsure when buying,but so glad I did! They really cut, but are perfectly safe!!

Another favorite! I bought this as a gift for my granddaughter. She has so much fun helping in the kitchen. The size and weight of the pieces makes this set perfect for her little hands. It cleans up beautifully, and there are no sharp edges. I really wasn't sure how something without sharp edges was going to work, but the pieces function as they should. I'm sure that as she gets older, she will enjoy even more of the set.

My 3.5 year old LOVES this. I have been allowing her to help while cooking dinner for about a year and a half and this was the perfect kit to introduce cutting. She mostly uses it for potatoes but you could use it for just about anything. I obviously supervise her the whole time overall don't really have a worry with her cutting herself since the knives aren't actually sharp like traditional knives. But even with that said, I wouldn't feel comfortable with her using this without adult supervision just because with anything dull or sharp if you press hard enough, you could cut yourself . Overall extremely happy with my purchase and is a great addition to our kitchen tools.
