Nice puzzle gift for a 4 year old that he can enjoy now and continue to enjoy
I got this for my 4 year old. I like how it is tactile, encourages forward thinking, and can be played again and again as he grows. At this point he understands the concept, and initially he struggled to do it on his own, so was a nice bonding activity to do a puzzle card together. He has had it a few weeks now, and he can do it on his own, but he likes when we do it together. He is not like the kids that other describe that are engrossed in this toy for hours! Haha! Reading reviews of other products, I decided to get this one because all of the puzzle cards stay with the toy because it has the rings. I'm glad that I did. That said, the rings would be better if they were metal. If it becomes a problem, we can switch them out. I like the size and weight of the toy, it is lightweight fairly compact for what it is. Of course my 2 year old also wants his own, so we may need to get another one. I'm really pleased with the purchase.
