Used for distance detection on Esphome
I wanted to put together a way of telling how much water is left in the tank that “tops up” my central heating system as it’s overflowed and drained dry in the past.I already have home assistant set up so using and ESP32 dev board and this seemed to be a good fitAfter the usual stumbling around due to esphome, home assistant and me being a total beginner to all three I got it working.These feedback pretty accurate reports of the distance back to home assistant and from there you’ll be able to set automations to trigger for a given event.I’m building out a few sensors to add to the esp32 so not able to submit pictures yet but will update when it’s all done, but they are great bits of kit and if you want to measure distance these work pretty well.
