Change it back to old recipe
I don't know what you changed, my cats use to love this. Use to smell different, different color entirely and now they smell it briefly and walk away. USE YOUR OLD RECIPE!

Kitty like this
This is one of the few flavors of cat food that our older kitty actually eats. He has gotten quite particular s he's gotten older and these beef shreds are one of two flavors that he prefers in the evening. He doesn't try to bury it as he does so many others. Fingers crossed this continues.

Different color of food from previous orders
I’ve ordered several cases of exactly the same thing, over more than a year. I opened a can of the latest shipment , late July 2024, and it was a totally different color of shreds. Usually it’s dark brown but this time it’s paler, more like chicken.I suspect that’s what has happened. Since it’s “with beef”, the proportion of beef has probably decreased. Luckily the cats that eat this are gluttons.

Your cat makes the final call
We lost a cat that was pretty wide open for flavors and textures. Our current cat is considerably more picky. As a result we have 17 flavors (approximately $275) that will have to be donated. This a new flavor we found that he accepts.

Finicky cat
My cat is very finicky. He only licks the gravy off, so I try to buy the products that have the most gravy in it and you only likes Friskies gravy.

Beef Shreds
Miss Dancer is a picky eater. She doesn't care for the fish flavors but likes beef, chicken and turkey in that order. At least lately. Will see what tomorrow brings. As long as it has gravy.
