Good purchase
It’s a few years after I’ve gotten these as a gift for my mother and she still uses them, they look great as long as you keep them clean. And very sturdy. I must say.

I love this set
*Update* I've been using this set & absolutely love them! All the tops fit, no hassle looking for what I need, just pull out the pan or skillet & there's the correct lid ready. Easy to wash, nothing sticks! I have used less oil in these because nothing sticks. Easy too cook, just make sure you watch the temp so not to burn the bottom or ruin the non stick coating--these heat up fast & need less heat to cook. This is a great set, I'd recommend to anyone not wanting to spend a hundred or so just too cook for 1 or 2 people. I cook only for myself & my husband & mostly every day, so this is perfect for us! I'm really excited about this cookware set. It has been 3 years since we bought a new cookware set & our last one was a $14 set from a local retail store (yeah big bargain, but it worked!) Well, my last cheaper set had non stick coating too that eventually came off (I know now not to use metal utensils on non stick cookware, even though my old set wasn't really non stick & it took major scrubbing to get it clean). This set is very nice & has a good weight to each item. I love that finally all the lids are included (it is a hassle not having lids to pots or pans & most department stores locally do not sell lids). Best part is no stick & super easy to clean! I use a soapy sponge (non scratch kind) & foods come off without a hassle. Cooking is a breeze too, without having to use so much oil now. I am very happy with this set & would recommend to anyone looking to upgrade or replace their old set. These would make great gifts too!

Good Pots and Pans for the Price
I enjoy this set. The serving spoons are a nice addition. The pots and pans are good quality. I am sure they will last for many years. Not that this set is as good as the Paula Dean ones or some more expensive ones...I had some great pots with the ex. But starting over, these were what I could afford. The quality seems good. The handles, while not being super soft, are soft enough. There is very little heat transfer to the handles. The non stick is still in tack on mine (and I put them in the dishwasher) They still look quite new. Black goes with everything. Great for someone on a budget who needs something of quality; but can't afford the realllly nice ones they want. The pans are just perfect for me. I prefer the frying pans where you can put a lid on them...if you dislike that aspect, you might want to add to it or chose another set. You get a pretty good selection here: a big soup pot, a small soup pot, two sauce pans, and two frying pans. Good deal!

Excellent set for smaller amounts of food
The nonstick coating is fantastic - incredibly easy to cook and clean with. The rubberized handles are very comfortable. If you're cooking for yourself or maybe one other person, the pots and pans are perfect. However, I do suggest that if you regularly cook for multiple people and you buy this set, get an extra, larger frying pan. The larger of the two that's provided is not really adequate if, say, you're sauteing two whole onions for a full pot of soup, or if you want to make a quesadilla using large tortillas. Because I mostly cook multiple meals' worth of food at a time, I don't use either of the frying pans in the set all that often. I also never find a use for the smallest saucepan. I've also found that the utensils are of somewhat questionable quality. In particular, they don't react too well to heat. I'm not sure if it's from normal use or from one of my roommates frequently leaving it resting on a hot frying pan, but the end of the spatula has some damage from melting or burning, which causes small strips of black plastic to fall off occasionally. And there are several deep gouges in the handle caused by letting it rest on the edge of a hot pan and melting. But the bottom line is that this is a very nice cookware set at a pretty good price. Maybe buy a bigger frying pan and a better spatula to supplement it, and that will basically fix the minor problems it has.

FAR better quality than pans 3 times as expensive
After several days of fighting with eggs sticking in a pan, yolks breaking and messing up our breakfast, we decided to just go on Amazon and order a cheap set to get us through this assignment, and get more expensive/better quality when we move into our permanent house. These were on sale and had good reviews for their quality so for the price, we couldn't go wrong. We are amazingly happy with the quality and look of these pans!!! They look like a set we had years ago that cost over $400 and barely lasted a year. We have had these pans for over a month now, and (*knock wood*) have had NO sticking or burnt food whatsoever! :-) Now I will note, that we do not wash our cookware in the dishwasher - we only hand wash them. By a month in with the $400 pans you could already see the top coat starting to discolor a bit, and these $45 pans still look brand new! We cook a lot and these are used several times a day for everything from eggs, to Alfredo sauce, to cheese-steaks. Everything we have cooked has come out perfectly and has not caused any wear on the pans whatsoever. CAUTION: Be VERY careful with the 2 round-handled pots - they have screws on the underside of the handles that get as hot as the pot and since we didn't know they were there and exposed, my husband burned his fingers pretty badly and nearly dropped a pot of boiling water when his skin touched the screw.

If you're reading - buy it
Fantastic VALUE! Bought these to use in a roommate situation. These have held up after almost 2 years of constant use (Mostly large pan and large pot). Because the lid is shared between the large pot and large pan, the lid handle detached after a year. I tried to put it back as it was, but could not. I ended up removing the rubber sleeve and screwed the bare screw directly against the glass lid. I'm sure I could buy a Calphalon or some other brand lid for this set, and it would be perfect. The set heats mostly even, works flawless for the many dishes I make. I use the accompanying solid spoon for most everything, it looks worn, but it is to be expected. The plastic isn't thick, but it has done everything I've asked of it. This set is everything you need if you're looking for a.) Affordable cookware b.) Community cookware that may get mistreated. (The only damage is from roommates using metal forks to stir/mix) I highly recommend this for young adults. If you're looking for better value, I don't know where you may find it, for as inexpensive as this set is, why take risk of saving a few dollars on a worse, less trusted product? This is a STARTER set with everything you need.

Hard Anodized, glass lids, easy to hold
This is the perfect set for a small family, or a bachelor (the one who'll use it, and for whom it's a housewarming gift, as he moves into his first condo). It's effectively everything other than food or seasoning products needed to cook for up to 6-8 people, and a breeze for one. 8 and 10 inch frying pans, which can also be used with lids from one of the 1,2,3, and 5 quart pots - 2 are saucepans, one is a casserole, and the last a dutch oven. Of course, the last two can be used just like a saucepan, but more volume - and having two handles instead of one for comfort in lifting the larger volume. I used my dutch oven to make soups and stews for groups, but also to roast a chicken, or a small beef roast, very comfortably. The hard-anodized surface is caressed by the 5 nylon tools (pasta server, soup ladle, slotted spatula, serving spoon, and slotted serving spoon), and cleanup is a wipe away. Do be careful, however, to avoid getting food on the bottoms of these. The heat transfer advantage of the grooved aluminum bases is also a great place for liquids or other foods to gather if there's a bit of a spill, and the hot aluminum will immediately show you where it went! That said, if you're just attentive, and as any chef will tell you, not overheating your cookware, you'll get even, stick-free, heating of whatever it is you've got inside it. The glass lids make it a breeze to see how whatever it is you're cooking is doing, and the vent will make it such that the steam you may produce will come out the top, gently, rather than bubbling over the sides as an unvented lid would do as it bounced. You'd be hard pressed to find a less expensive yet very complete small cooking ensemble. Happy cooking!

Good, Cheap set
UPDATE: (04/28/2014) So I am taking away two stars because of something that bothers me with this product. The lid is very, very tough to clean. See, there is a metal ring that holds the glass of the lid but food gets stuck between the small gap of the glass and metal. You can hold up the lid and see tomato sauce and oil and other crud in the small gap. And trying to clean it out is pretty much impossible. Spent over a half hour on one lid and wasn't able to get any of it out, seems really stuck in there. ---- Original Review: We bought these as a cheap set for our new apartment and in general we are pretty happy so far. It has only been a couple weeks though, so can't comment too much on longevity. But in terms of cooking and cleaning, they worked well enough without any complaints. The sizes are okay, may be on the small side for more than two or three people though. But for a couple or for college, these are a good set to pick up. They do seem to be easier to clean than stainless steel pots and pans (the pots seem to be non-stick too, which I never cooked with before). The only thing I noticed so far is that the handle gets a bit hot and it is made of rubber or some such and I worry about it starting to degrade. Haven't noticed anything yet, but something that I'm keeping an eye on.

Non-Stick and Great!
Very easy to clean, perfectly non-stick, and very sturdy so far! Also a very nice-looking set. The packaging it came in kept it all undamaged, and I appreciate that the plastic utensils don't scratch the pans.

Resistentes y buen material
Ya tengo 3 meses o más con las ollas y han salido muy buenas, el teflón tiene buena calidad, y en general el material es bueno, lo único malo es que con algún golpecillo se le bota la pintura externa, pero supongo que es normal. Las recomiendo!!

Strongly recommended!!
Ordered it for daily usage at my home and it turned out to be very useful for routine purpose as it is compatible with all kind of stoves. Also very easy to clean and another good thing is that it is oven proof too. It is a perfect worthy thing to be ordered for kitchen. I won’t give a second thought before recommending to any of friends and family !
